Slam! Wrestling has an interview up with Dwayne Johnson talking about The Tooth Fairy and a return to WWE. He mentions that he was supposed to host Raw this past Monday but couldn't because he was in Mexico promoting the movie. He goes on to say that he is working with Vince McMahon to come up with a plan, and adds that once he finishes filming his next flick Faster this summer he might go back.

? "Might go back" is an odd way to phrase an appearance.

After seeing the trailer for his latest movie, maybe the Rock will start to reconsider his feelings towards the wrestling business.

Is it that bad then? ^^^^

Having the rock back as a guest host would be cool. As a part time wrestler i cannot see it happening. One more match is less likely to happen in my eyes.

Gym wasn't the problem. He's actually in a hell of a lot better shape now than when he was wrestling.

If Rock were to go back to WWE it wouldn't be much different then doing his Tooth Fairy movie and shit anyway cause it'll be going to the same type of audience and there will be limited stuff that he'll be allowed to say. If I was the Rock, I'd return to WWE for a while then go do another shit kids movie but by then he'll be popular cause of his wrestling and maybe more people will watch the crap thing.

Would be awesome if he returned though.

The Rock would be far more entertaining in TNA or ROH than WWE. That being said, i'd take 10% of past Rock over any of his movies and anyone else in WWE on the mic.

Also, if he does ever come back, I hope he comes out to his 2003 "Hollywood" music. That still is epic as all getout.

+ I'd love if Rock came back as heel and made fun of kids for not knowing him, taught Cena how to cut a promo, then proceed to bitchslap him.

I laugh at the people who actually think PG would interfere with guys like Stone Cold and The Rock (those are the latest to pop out). PG didn't seem to affect The Rock so much in his promo on Smackdown, and he threw all of his catchphrases in there. If DX has kept "suck it", I doubt it really interferes that much.

"Who is Dolph Ziggler?" Yes, epic promo. >_> It was because of his delivery.

Everyone knows that he's going to be awesome if he comes back, because he's the greatest mic worker of all time (arguably) and doesn't need the writers. But that doesn't change the fact that a non-PG setting would allow The Rock character to reach his full range, whereas some of the greatest "Rock moments" would never be suitable for a PG environment.

It seems that he smelled some good cook in the WWE that he wants to come back for. :shifty:

KILL THE DREAM!!!

Damn, yall muh-fuckas STILL want Rock to come back?

That bullshit hype ended like three years ago, let Rock do his acting and give up on the comeback rumors already. He`s not coming back, these movies that he`s in is paying three times the cash he was snatching up in the E.

Done deal...

Of course people want The Rock to come back. The guy's amazing. Just because it's unlikely to happen doesn't mean people are going to give up.
