I'm like heated that the WWE didn't put him in the HOF. RIP Vader
Yup. Knowing he didn't have long to live makes it even worse. He gave that company years of his life and health and he wasn't even given his ceremony.

The HOF is a joke so him never getting an invite was a blessing for him but this is about him passing, r.i.p
Even if its a HOF that not legit, its still nice for him to be appreciated. I think Vader was big on being inducted tbh. Shame he didn't have that momment. RIP haven't watched much of his stuff in WWE but he is a bit of a legend. Not sure if he ever reached his potential in WWE.

It still means a lot to wrestlers even if it is a joke to a lot of people. It is like a slap in the face to see people like Drew Carey in there and not him.

I understand it's a joke. I consider it a joke at times too, but from what I remember, his health has been bad for a few years and he's been campaigning to be put in the HOF before the inevitable death would occur.

And knowing WWE, they will probably induct him in the 2019 HOF just so they look like they actually care

This obviously blows. Vader is the forerunner for so many athletic big men wrestlers. He blazed the path and did so in a style that few can replicate. Most athletic big men are just big men that wrestle like cruiserweights. But Vader was a Super Heavyweight that just happened to be able to do a flip or two. He implemented high flying/athletic moves into his super heavyweight style rather than do what most guys his size that can move does.

And he was such a versatile worker. CWA, WCW, WWF, NJPW, AJPW, UWFI. All companies with unique, distinct styles and Vader could do it all.

Here's Vader vs Misawa in the Tokyo Dome for All Japan in 99. A fantastic title match that showed just how big a deal Vader was across the pacific.

RIP

Vader was one of the greatest big men in wrestling. He weaved a brutal, but awe inspiring tapestry wherever he went. I always loved his cat like ability to absorb punishment and his moonsault. No one did it better than him. RIP Leon White.

Wait... What am I saying? Leon White just grew a pair of wings! He can't rest in peace because now he's become more powerful than any mortal. In heaven, guess what... it's time... it's Vader Time!

Rest in Peace man. I still remember the days my Uncle and I would wrestle and he yelled, "it's Vader time!" Make sure to lock arms with Macho Man up there.

Back in the day I did not have acces to RAW just watched the tapes. When I first heard of Vader I thought kewl they gave a Darth Vader gimmick to someone.

And then they fed him to Shawn Michael's who I liked in 1996 (well him and Bret).

I did not really know about his WCW work, or the back stage politics.

Back then I knew wrestling was fake (otherwise piledrivers would break necks a lot more), but it was not until the 1999 documentary I knew how far they went.

Its time, its time its Vader time.
