Ring of Honor television deal negotiations being discussed

We do know negotiations are close for an ROH deal. TruTV has always been the station rumored because they are transitioning into being a sports channel in prime time and thus would need new content. If the financials of the deal are good, then the decision to keep the ROH brand alive would become a positive financial decision. But like I always say, until the deal is done, when it comes to television, it’s not done. But he pushed that because of him, AEW became a pro wrestling powerhouse and he’s going to do the same for ROH and would be leading ROH to the biggest stage and biggest success it has ever seen, and also said “Never underestimate Chris Jericho, you dumb asses” and “I’m going to take ROH to places it’s never been before.” As noted, this promo was meant to be more than just an arrogant heel promo looking to get heat for the moment

Tony is a magician if he actually lands a tv deal. Article seems to even indicate they are close. Almost unbelievable

If this deal is already close this is just Jericho's ego seeing the tea leaves and wanting to get credit where he failed 2 years ago.

Maybe but I can also see Tony wanting a big name as a lead in for the start and Jericho still draws

I can see Tony believing that but the Jericho promo Wednesday just screamed to me that he was saying "I told you so" and that everyone was wrong about him bc he already knew he'd get to take credit for this.

Bc we know the reason he did the EXACT SAME ANGLE 2 years ago was for this same reason and he failed, that time he didn't talk this on the nose about how he'd be this huge draw for ROH. He wouldn't have said that stuff Wednesday if there was a chance he'd be wrong IMO, it's basically done if I had to guess. Or both Jericho and Tony will look very foolish
