THE Brian Kendrick's Biceps

I remember when he was back in OVW, as Atlas DaBone. He seemed alright, although a bit generic (minus his look). Since coming to ECW, it seems that they have attempted to push him. They've been giving out those towels at events (it's not like people would buy them. Kids would much rather gets say, a Hardy shirt, or Cena shirt), and have been trying to get people behind him. They have even gone as far too hype his HUGE UNDEFEATED STREAK (4-0 o_O). So apparently, someone likes him. But do you?

Like I said, I find him generic. He really has nothing that makes him stand out to me. I'm not really a fan of this whole push, but I don't see it being too long before he turns heel. You can only be a generic face for so long. Plus, turning heel usually makes the generic face much more interesting (see: Rhodes, Cody).

Thoughts on Ortiz?

Dont judge him just yet, he has a 5-0 streak I believe and this push on ECW s kinda working. I dont mind the guy, his look keeps him from being generic for me. He will become a ME face then probably turn heel. He has a good figure to play both roles. Something big will come though, coz he was the most successful of the new superstars. Btw, Jake Hager looked good on ECW and performed well as the 'All American Americanized American who supports America'

I agree with you BKB.

Nothing about Ortiz seems different. He is your generic wrestler, he's the sort of guy if you went onto SvR and made a CAW without any editing, he is who would pop up.

Most of the other guys who have been brought up have had something 'different' that has set them apart (eg. Bourne, Cabana, Manu) whilst Ricky doesn't even seem to have a gimmick.

To be perfectly honest, I still haven't seen enough of him to make a judgement - once he's had his first proper feud then I'll say something. I like new talent, so he's a breath of fresh air atm.

I think if used correctly he can have a decent career. He is very generic, but has a few looks about him that stand out, or at least make you say "That was a bit ... different." I can't make a decision on this guy till he is in his first feud, though. Time will tell.

One thing that would help him IMHO is if he was to get a very unique and over the top finishing move. Something that really is different and has a wow factor. I know that is rare these days, but it would help him big time.

No. I wasn't a fan of his when he was Atlas Dabone, and I'm not a fan of his now. I'll admit that the guy has some sort of goofy charisma, but his in-ring work is downright awful... Now watch as he becomes a main eventer in a couple of years.

I do find Ricky very generic but It's helping him get over with the fans of ECW, the whole towel thing is definitely lame but it's marketable...especially with the younger crowd of ECW. I think Ricky will have a decent career but he can make it marketable, all he needs is a WAY more better finisher than the Big O. I can see him feuding with Chavo or The Miz to make me believe that he'll have bright future in the E, I just hope the bookers don't push too high like they did with Kofi's era in ECW.

Amen! :)

Also I think from what I've noticed before; that the WWE are still not knowing exactly what to do with him. I think he is another Carlito in all aspects.

No...
If you're going to push anyone on ECW it should be Morrison and Bourne.

He hasn't been on ECW that long so you need to give him some time to adjust and show his talents which i believe he has a lot of. Yeah he has a streak and it's only short but in the future he will be US or IC champ i can just see it. Yeah he may have to turn heel for a major push but that's maybe a fresh start that he will be given in the new year.

Tomko: NO.

Too generic for me, and I don't find him appealing to watch. Just a guy whose a midcarder for life. I haven't seen him too much, but from what I have, he's decent, but not great.

I never even cared about Ortiz to begin with, and I think of him as the ECW Drug Dealer, he looks like it compared to everyone else. He seems like such a nobody, popping randomly out of nowhere, like saying "Hey, I'm on this show too!" He isn't even average in the ring too, but the WWE does have people that are currently doing nothing that have as much charisma as him (elijah motherf'n burke)
