Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Flair was asked if he would be part of WrestleMania 41 to share a moment with Cena should he win number 17.

"I wish I could say that I was, but I'm not, and I understand why, and I'm not mad about it by any means. Every time they talk about the title, my name gets mentioned. They keep me relevant. It's very cool. John is a great guy. Cody is a great guy," said Flair.

Asked why WWE wouldn't want him there, Flair replied, "I work for another company. I'm sure I would be more than welcome. Absolutely, if I wasn't working with Tony, I would absolutely be there. They couldn't keep me out of the building."

Flair hasn't appeared on AEW television since AEW Revolution 2024 when he was part of Sting's retirement match, serving as a manager for Sting and Darby Allin against The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson).

This actually clarifies some questions I had, his original deal was publically announced as two years but then he disappeared less than a year in. But seems he's still getting paid until it expires like usual, so should be til the end of this year

If I remember correctly, they aren't even really paying him since his energy drink company was basically paying for it.

That's the other question I have, that sponsorship was dropped forever ago to so I have to assume AEW is no longer getting money, also does Wooo energy even still exist?

Actually if it was a big lump sum, AEW may have made out like bandits on the deal

Or is that what WWE wants you to think? Maybe he's going to show up at WrestleMania and screw Cena.

It's meant to be the worst energy drink out in U.S I've read and been told about. He's probably just trying to Play The Game.

i just assume flair just thinks he's employed by them and AEW has no idea what he's talking about :lol
It's pretty funny and sad at the same time that that is actually very possible :lol

It’s going to be John Stewart again

I thought Flair signed a WWE Legends deal a while back?
