Rey returns to the ring

Former World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio returned to the squared circle in Tijuana, Mexico in a six man tag team match teaming up with Bobby Lashley and John Cena taking on Randy Orton, King Booker and Umaga. Mysterio worked his first match inside a WWE ring since October 20th of last year when he was defeated by Chavo Guerrero in an 'I Quit' match on Smackdown! Mysterio left to repair his knee which needed surgery. He returned on WWE TV on the February 23rd edition of Smackdown! in his hometown of San Diego, CA., and was attacked by Umaga and Vince McMahon. The real story was that he wasn't ready yet from the injury to return so a storyline to re-injure his knee was played out to keep him off television longer.

I never seen that coming. I wasn't expecting him to return until a few more weeks. I'm glad to see him back though and hopefully see him add some spice to the CW division rather than going after the world title again.

not shocked to see him wrestle in mexico. he is last of the great mexican wrestlers left on tv.

Yeah i think a run on smackdown for edges world title then ecw should be ok for rey. Then a run on raw with the ic title should be a good finish to the year. He should swap shows saying that has he a free contract cause his on s,down was cancelled.

So you are saying all in less than half a year Rey should challenge for the world title, move to ECW and at the end of the year move again to raw and challenge for the IC title. Are you dizzy?

Yeah he can lose to edge then go to ecw spice things up and challenge for ecw title. Then he can go onto raw and WIN the ic title. He wont wint he world title agian.

Three brands in five months? Damn, you should be on the creative team...

I don't know why bdogg1 is surprised he returned, it was advertised for ages. He will return to SD! in the coming weeks also. I am not a big fan of Rey, but SD! is really light at the moment, in terms of ME faces, so I hope he begins a programme with Edge upon his return, before feuding with Khali/Henry/MVP/Masters (who could recieve a push).
