Rey and Jericho to fued over Rey's mask?

-- WWE is planning to involve Rey Mysterio's mask in his new feud with Chris Jericho.

They tested the angle at the SmackDown/ECW show last night, when Jericho ripped at Rey's mask and loosened it enough that when Rey was thrown into the corner, it fell off.

Rey then bailed out to the floor and a "fan" threw a mask at Rey from the 2nd row. Rey returned to the ring with the fan's mask and his original mask in hand. Jericho then ripped the fan's mask off Rey

Having the mask in the feud could be pretty good. Mysterio hasn't had any feuds involving the mask for a long time, right? The matches will be sick between these two, so some kind of backstory like this can help. It also fits Jericho's character. They can have him condemn Rey for pretending to be someone he's not, and hiding behind a mask, instead of being an honest man, or some shit. I dunno, but it sounds like it could be good.

Wow, totally forgot about that. Well, in that case, now that I remmeber it, that SUCKED. The Kane/Rey thing was stupid, and I can't even remember where the hell it went. Didn't it have something to do with Kane carrying around Rey's mask? Either way, if they do this properly, I'm all for it. The vague bit of detail I remember about the Kane vs Rey feud reminds me that it wasn't very good... At all.

Kane had a mystery bag for a month after the draft and everybody thought it was Kane's old mask and he would do that again. Then Kane pulled out Rey's mask instead in a swerve and everybody hated it so the feud never really had a chance. Then Kane basically said Rey was a coward and dishonest for hiding behind a mask unlike Kane. Then things kinda filtered off and they just kept fighting around Survivor Series with no real reason explained. So yeah...=/
