Here's the thing that I still can't get in TNA. Like with WWE, every PPV I can think of a good match that stands out to me, but when I think TNA PPV's I can't really think of a match that happened. Like, Lockdown, it was Angle vs. Joe, that's easy, but most others I forget what matches happened, don't get me started on older TNA PPV's. However, I do remember Sonjay Dutt vs. Jay Lethal in a Male Stripping match just because of it's funny factor. Their feuds just aren't BIG enough. The feud they are trying to build now, I still don't know what it is, might bomb because they are involving too many guys. Just like the infamous LOCKDOWN team matches. Every year the first quarter of the year is gang warfare with different teams each year, it's repetitive and resemble one another which doesn't stick out at all. Angle and Joe stuck out because it was a one on one match. This current deal with Sting-Joe-AJ-Angle-Booker-Nash-Jarrett is blowing my mind. BFG needs a good one on one that can stick out. It's a little over a month away and you still can't see the main event which doesn't give alot of build up. I feel like I am rambling, do you know what I am getting at?

I disagree and agree at the same time lol. I disagree with your statement about you saying that their isn't a stand out match on TNA's PPVs, because there are lots of them imo. For Slammi, it was AJ vs Kurt and the KOTM. At Hard Justice, it was AJ vs Kurt again. At Victory Road, it was the Ultimate X match. Maybe you are talking about pure hype, but when I talk about stand out matches I mean the best matches on the card. The one match that everyone will put in that "best match" column for the PPV. Now as for Bound For Glory, I agree that they need to start hyping a main event for that PPV right now. Last year around this time, Kurt/Sting was at least getting teased. But this year nothing is being teased, and tbh its pretty hard to predict the BFG main event right now. I think at No Surrender they'll find a way to tease the BFG main event, whether its an angle throughout the PPV or maybe during the main event.

I understand what you mean. There are a few matches I will know a marquee matchup on a PPV like AWM/XXX @ Victory Road 04, the 3 way @ Unbreakable 05, Angle/Joe from Genesis 06, Harris/Storm @ Sacrifice 07, Kaz/Christian @ Genesis 07, and Angle/Joe from Lockdown 08.

There are a lot of great matches inbetween, those are just the main ones that stick in my head.

Yea like I remember alot of the matchups from 2004-early 2005, but beyond that it just got real sloppy and not hyped enough to where it sticks in my head. I don't remember much from last year since it wasn't that great. Good point Peepshow, I remember Kaz vs Christian, but don't remember the main event or anything else from Genesis, that's what I am talking about. I pay equal attention to TNA as WWE, but can't recall many TNA PPV matches. I was all over early TNA PPV's though, those were legendary.

I would say the triple threat from Sacrifice was good. Kaz being in the main event was awesome and he deserved it. The Christian/Angle rematch at AAO this year was really good too. I was at Destination X and I'd say, from crowd reaction alone, the Knockouts match and/or Lethal/Williams matches were the most exciting. Almost all of Genesis 2006 is high caliber as well.
