On Raw, The Rock said we need to start a revolution. We the fans usually dictate who gets pushed. You may say hey the IWC gets ignored and you are right. It's actually smart to ignore us. I mean the casual fans that buy tickets randomly and tune in randomly need something to get them interested in wrestling again. I hate casuals but some of those I call casuals were true wrestling fans at one point. Those people need something to rejoice in.

So someone needs to do something and it's change the face of their company. Either get entirely behind CM Punk and let him, be him or let Cena be less of a WWE creative pusher. Cena himself should be making a stand and wanting his character to develop. To be fair I could watch the current Cena for years to come and be entertained but I'm a wrestling hybrid. There are not many people out there like me out there, though. So, WWE needs to change and this time is better than none. Ultimately a Cena heel turn would do wonders. It seems fans have tried their best to make this happen, too. I know others would scream it would hurt merchandise sales? What actual wrestling fan cares about that shit? It's even worse than caring about ratings. Next you'll complain that Cena is not catering to kids and women every week anymore. This won't hurt ratings anyways, hell I bet a lot of inactive fans would actually want to see how a Cena heel turn would go. The last time wrestling was as stale as this is was about... the Summer of 1996 when you know the NWO showed up and created the Attitude Era which saved wrestling. Austin deserves some credit but I digress.

Is it time for a change? Probably, I'll still watch either way and will still enjoy it. That's just me. What about you?

If there is ever a time to do this and turn Cena heel to seriously shake things up there is no better time to do it than now with the perfect platform in mania and the man that is loved by everybody in Rock to turn against. Not to mention we don't have that clear cut number 1 heel in the WWE. You got the guy to take over the number 1 undisputed face spot in Punk. Everything is there to do it and that said I don't see them pulling the trigger even though I think it's time to do so.

I could have went into more detail about Punk being the top face. Hell, Cena being the main heel and feuding with Punk would be huge. If WWE waited they could probably pull off a moment similar to Hart/Austin at Wrestlemania 13 except well Punk's already face.

So long as it'a not a shit revolution for some jobber like Ryder then i'm all for it.

Given what Cena said in his serious promo about this match meaning everything to him, that could be an avenue that leads to lead to a heel turn after he hopefully loses to Rock at Mania. With that being said, i've given up hope of them doing anything interesting with Cena ever again, case in point being his feud with Kane.

A Cena heel turn will be huge so it has to be done at the right time, now seems like the right time with the rock match coming up
