Report: Zhang Tie Quan vs. Darren Elkins at UFC 136

According to his coach from China Top Team, Chinese superstar, Zhang Tie Quan will be making his return to the Octagon against Darren Elkins this October. Tatame has the report:

Another fight is coming up to UFC 136 card. The event, headlined by two title fights (lightweights Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard and featherweights Jose Aldo vs. Kenny Florian), will mark the return of Zhang Tiequan to the octagon.

His coach at China Top Team, Ruy Menezes told TATAME that his protégé is set to fight Darren Elkins at UFC 136, on October 8th.

Zhang, who started his Zuffa career as a 1-1 lightweight in the WEC, will be entering his second UFC featherweight bout. "The Mongolian Wolf", who recently got married, was last seen in the Octagon back in february, a 48-second submission win over Jason Reinhardt.

The former URCC champion will be looking to make it two in a row against Elkins, who we last saw in a highly controversial decision against Michihiro Omigawa back in UFC 131.
