-- It appears Goldust may be in line for a renewed push on SmackDown! after a stellar outing with Chris Jericho on a recent episode of WWE Superstars as he defeated Money in the Bank participant Dolph Ziggler at last night's SmackDown! live event in Stockton, California. He also gained a victory over Mike Knox on last week's episode of WWE Superstars. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion praised his match with Goldust on his Twitter account, writing, "I really dug the match with Goldust. He's in the best shape of his life and is as good as anybody in the WWE. Very underrated.."

I really hope they give Goldust some form of a push. The guy was great over on ECW and is definitely in the best shape I've ever seen him in. He's stepped up his in ring work A LOT recently and has remained pretty consistently over. A strong heel run for Goldust over on Smackdown with Shattered Dreams productions and an IC title reign would be awesome.
Title off Drew and onto Goldy ASAP please.

^^^^^ Bloody brilliant post and a damn good idea. When he fought Chris Jericho last week on superstars he looked a bit different. He looked like a proper superstar and not a jobber. Give him a mid card feud and IC title run Vince. He deserves it after all of the jobs he has done putting people over.

Haha, please, Goldust. Really, Goldust? Get out of here, the man has had so many opportunities and sure he's gets some good reactions but the same amount he's had for the past ten plus years in or out of the WWE. His best chance as stardom was his first real run with the Goldust character. The Bizarre One was an intriguing heel character but that was it. Years of terrible booking and a career moving like a treadmill didn't help him.

BTW Drew > Goldust, forever. In Drew's few months of his WWE career he's already better than old Goldy.

Yeah, because the fans seem completely unwilling to still accept him as a viable and over face. Yeah, let's keep shoving the virtual reactionless Drew down people's throats instead of perhaps pushing a guy that people have been pretty vocal in wanting to see.
Goldust at this point is better than Drew in just about every way. He's a bigger draw, better in the ring, better on the mic and just all around more interesting and bearable to watch. But this isn't another thread on how shitty Drew is...

As much of a drew mark as iam right now. Noumenon is right. Goldust deserves one more shot at a good mid card feud and run. Why the hell not? Mike Knox is not doing it. Matt hardy/Khali/Benjamin, ziggler are not doing it. Goldust has the experience and talent to get over and make people care about his matches. Matt hardy being the only exception.

Goldust is twice the worker Drew McIntyre is. I also agree with Jericho saying he is underrated. I've always felt his work in WWE is underrated.

Bearing in mind goldust has like 20 years more wrestling knowledge and experience than drew^^^^. In time Drew will be good but as for not a feud with Goldust can not only help drew it can help goldust climb the ladder.

Drew McIntyre is garbage. I would step in the ring and just laugh at him. Then i would pick up the mic and ask for a better opponent.

I never said that people didn't want to see him, I said he missed his shot at being a real big name. And of course people are going to want to see a face rather than a heel. Also saying Drew is 'reactionless' is completely off base, he won't be getting Punk or Jericho or Miz like heel reactions but as a Mid Card heel, he's doing fairly well looking at the experience he is lacking.

Calling Goldust a bigger draw than Drew as of now isn't really something to brag about, it's more of an insult to Goldust seeing as he's been around for years and Drew is relatively new but they're about the same level.

Ring skills and mic skills are debateable between the two but Goldust has been a comedy act since '98, Drew isn't being made a joke out of.

That being said, Goldust does deserve an IC title run for pitty's sake looking at the fact that a career's worth of work has amounted to basically nothing.

Oh and I didn't bring Drew up, you did. That'll be the last about him in this thread from me.

Drew McIntyre is garbage. I would step in the ring and just laugh at him. Then i would pick up the mic and ask for a better opponent.

Seeing as wrestling is scripted and you are not a professional wrestler, your post made no sense at all.

Goldust has always been a solid worker. WWE should also throw Regal and Christian on the underrated list as well. They both need a proper push.

Goldust is better then Drew McIntyre.
and specifically to LPK, It's always a joy for me to see The Great Khali in the ring. He is a great competitor.

Bring back the "Bizzare One" heel gimmick. He has to go fully into it though, with the creepy, pre-shot vignettes and promos. None of this "backstage interview" garbage they do now.

Fuck yes. Goldust was the shit as the "Bizzaro One". Hopefully we finally see him relive his old days.

ROFL. Yeah, because the I'M SO COCKY LOOK AT ME WALK SLOW AND ACT COOL character is so much tougher to pull off than the Goldust character right? HE'S SO MUCH BETTER!!1 Even though Goldust is 10x better than him in the ring, 10x better on the mic, and 10x more interesting (even with this old character).

Calling Goldust a bigger draw than Drew as of now isn't really something to brag about, it's more of an insult to Goldust seeing as he's been around for years and Drew is relatively new but they're about the same level.
And this is just an asinine semantic of an argument, seeing how roughly 90% OF WRESTLERS DON'T EVEN MAKE IT TO THE MAIN EVENT/WIN A MAJOR TITLE. Christian is also in the same place as Drew, is Drew better than/as good as him? What about Curt Hennig? DiBiase? Razor? Piper?

Ring skills and mic skills are debateable between the two but Goldust has been a comedy act since '98, Drew isn't being made a joke out of.
So because his Goldust's character doesn't throw tantrums, walk cool, try to act badass/evil means Drew is better than him in the ring or more interesting? Ok. Pretty sure "being made a joke out of" implies something to do with booking, which is absolutely irrelevant.

Your opinion, not mine.

Excellent made up number, I'm speaking of the potential of Drew which is far more than Goldust ever had.

I said the mic and ring skills are debateable. And my main point is that Drew is at Goldust's level only months into his career. There's no telling what he is going to be doing next year. If Drew's in the next line of Future Endeavors a year from now than I'll admit I'm wrong about him.
