Almost every piece of text on this forum casts a shadow even smalltext. I don't really like it. What do ya think Crayo? Did you do this yourself or was this always part of the theme or..? I just noticed it yesterday.

If it bothers you so much, just find out how to add user-styles for your browser and add one with

* {
  text-shadow: none!important;
}

Doubt they'd change something just because you don't like it. File a petition, get a few hundred signatures.
