lol at there not being a thread for this. It's out now. Honestly I wasn't looking forward to this and I presumed it would be as good as Encore or even worse. Don't get me wrong Encore had a few good songs but it's by far his worst album. I've listened to every song and this is at least imo his 3rd best album. Possibly even 2nd after I listen to it more. The real Slim Shady actually comes back in a couple of songs. The beats to all of the songs are crazy. Then there are two songs with Marshall Mathers in Beautiful and Deja Vu. They are easily in the top 5 songs and a lot of people are saying Beautiful is the best song. Other great songs are Underground, Old Time's Sake, 3 A.M. and Stay Wide Awake. All of these stand out. The only bad song is Same Song & Dance. Bagpipes from Baghdad would also be bad if it didn't have the beat it has. Well Shady's back and he is bringing back rap. The crazy thing is Relapse 2 is coming out this year. So what do you guys think?

I love it. I think, however that Medicine Ball is the best on there. And the Paul skits are always fucking MONEY.

album is AWESOME! Listened to it like 10 times already... best songs are Beautiful, Same Song and Dance, Underground, and Old Time's Sake are the best ones on there... and the bonus tracks SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE REAL ALBUM OMFG! They are great!

Can't wait already for Relapse 2

'Beautiful' is fucking perfect. It's one of his best songs, I love it. It captures the themes of his past few years in one song and the lyrics are dope as fuck. It's one of those albums you can listen to the whole way through which I have been doing. Every song is at least listenable which is a very good quality. My favorite songs would be, 'Beautiful', '3AM', "Deja Vu', 'Underground', 'Hello' and 'Old Time's Sake' but I could have kept going. 'Beautiful' and 'Underground' are my favorites. I also love the Paul skit. Hell, the whole album's great.

Marshall Mathers LP > Slim Shady LP > Relapse > Em Show > Encore

The voice bugged me a bit but the flow and instrumental won me over.

8/10

Relpase is imo his best album since The Marshall Mathers LP. Overall I enjoyed it but "Same Song & Dance" and "We Made You" i'm not feeling as much as the other songs "Stay Wide Awake" "3Am" "Deja Vu" and "My Mom" are my favorite songs on the album. The "Dr West" skit is a fucking brilliant intro into 3 AM. The Paul skits are always MONEY

Deja Vu really tells a story of the last few years of Marshall Mathers' life.

I think the new "Slim Shady" voice is pretty gnarly and I do love the fact that the vulgar shit talking shady is back. He doesn't make any stabs at Kim in the album and imo it shows that he has grown up drastically.

Nobody likes the song Insane? If has humour and good punch lines. As for the Relaspe 2, I think it's way too early. Relaspe was a highly anticipated album. I'm sure it'll get a lot of buys. Being that it was a great album, fans would be anticipating the the follow-up. I'd be better for the anticipation to grow so you get more buys, rather than doing another album in a few months.

I like "Insane" and "Medicine Ball" they just arent in my top 3-4 songs thats all. I always liked Em's Reeve's impressions.

I think that when Relapse 2 is dropped it will be his more serious album, much like the Slim Shady/Marshall Mathers LP thing one was in the slim shady-guise and the other will be for the most part more serious and be full of songs like "Deja Vu."

And has anyone heard the song "My Darling?"

^yes and Be Careful What You Wish For... the two deluxe edition bonus songs... they are very good and should have been on the album! Insane and Medicine Ball are great... love the Christopher Reeves impressions actually lol

at first his Reeves immitation was annoying but I have to say it grew on me. "So one last time mister Christopher Reeves Won't you break it down for me and just spit the verse please" that line is the shit.

Overall relapse lived up to the hype. It would be alot smarter from Em's standpoint to wait a year or so to release another album.

On a sidenote I heard D12 has a new album in the works?

now is this the FULL D12 without Proof then? Including Eminem? If so, then this could be something
