Its his gimmick. He messes up names on purpose.

In a way, you may have a point. He's become less entertaining as a "Boss" type role say since 2001... I've been slightly dissapointed ever since he became GM but still... Although i think he isn't very good at the serious side of the GM he is frickin hilarious on the funny more lighter side (WWE Idol... Dancing with Cryme Tyme)
IMO he should've stayed as an active wrestler for a tad more time as he doesn't have much years left. Then after he retired i would've like him to become a GM type role. It just feels as though WWE are missing out on his wrestling talent, especially now that he hasn't got much time left.
As for the Umanga thing, & Heytch... He has a diffrent accent to some of you americans so that's why you probably can't get over it!

Yeah, he was well more suited and way more entertaining back in 2001 as the commish. Now with all this dating game shit, its just not that great, but that could just be me
^^No. The whole game show thing was Blue. But it did bring us the somewhat Marella/Simmons feud. But it'll never happen...
Well, everything was much more serious back then...
WWE are a lot more comedic nowadays so that's why you see most of these skits take place!
Usually they are entertaining so i don't complain!
.Before he got the GM role, I thought he would be a perfect fit. But now he has it, I'm bored of him. He just doesn'tr scream 'authority figure' to me. Bischoof/Heyman/Stephanie were true authority figures and that added a lot to the show, wheras Regal is just a comedy figure. But that being said, there aren't many guys who can fill the role and Regal makes up for his defects with his natural gift of being funny. Coach resumes his old role whilst Regal is suspended/

the reason he's not "authority figure" is that vince is still on raw....so as far as making regal a gm goes...it was a good decision made in a bad time.
When regal messes up and says stuff like Triple Heytch and Youmanga I think its his gimmick because when he made the mistake once why would he keep saying it. Plus its funny.

Well I much rather prefer someone like Regal as the General Manger then Coach. I am not fond of Coachman anymore as to me he will always be Vince’s bitch. Regal on the other hand may not be the “authority figure” like some of the other Raw General Mangers in the past, but he still is funny as hell and ranks higher then Coach.
Plus, TDK makes a great point, Vince is the so called “authority figure” on Raw right now.

Regal will always be overlooked as him being the GM of RAW because I believe, Vince won't be able to be taken off TV.
