I didn't play the game but after watching the video below, it intrigued me.
The game itself is deeply enriched with philosophies and ancient practices (Buddhism).
If you don't care about spoilers, the video breaks down all the meanings and shows you what happens at the beginning and the end. The entirety of the game is about bonding, life, death, and time itself. For an indy game, this one is deeeeeep!
