We noted before that WWE parted ways with WWE Creative head Eric Pankowski earlier this week. Word going around is that Pankowski was removed from his position because he wasn't receptive to ideas beyond his own and that eventually cost him allies within the company.

Pankowski was described as not knowing how to deal with personalities while in a position that required him to deal with a lot of different personalities. There were a few incidents where Pankowski and some of the wrestlers got into arguments over what would work and what wouldn't on WWE TV. It was described as a "Hollywood mindset not adapting to the pro wrestling mindset, and instead trying to force the opposite."

Nobody within WWE was surprised by the change but some were surprised that it happened before WrestleMania 29.

Might explain some of the shitty story lines whilst he was in charge.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black there... how many rewrites does Vince do every week?

Yeah, maybe I'm just skeptical that Vince is hamstringing Creative, but hell. Any change is good change.

This is what happens when you think you're above hiring someone with 'wrestling credentials' and go with some jerkoff who doesn't care about wrestling instead.

I pulled this quote from somewhere:

“Eric is a creative veteran whose knowledge and experience will be a tremendous asset in both the creation of new WWE content as well as enhancing our core product,” said Stephanie McMahon.

Apparently not.

Punk said it himself, this company won't get better until Vince is dead. Any good ideas that creative come up with get cockblocked by him.

If Punk said it it must be true!

Being an astute Punk mark you would think you would Ashley remember the entire quote. He didn't say the company would improve after Wince's death because of :pity2:

So :pity1:
