– Syfy and WWE announced today its first ever WWE Smackdown live special, SuperSmackdown Live, on Tuesday, August 30 at 8-10PM/ET on Syfy, originating from the INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas. The reason for the schedule change is because the original September 2 air date falls on Labor Day weekend. Officials are anticipating a poor rating for that day and therefore the show will air three days earlier.
– WWE recently filed trademark applications for the terms “Future Endeavored,” “Future Endeavor” and Mr. Future Endeavor.” The terms are for John Laurinaitis’ on-screen character.
– This week’s episode of WWE Superstars has been posted online, which features Zack Ryder squaring off against Drew McIntyre in the main event. Other matches include Santino Marella vs. Primo, Wade Barrett vs. Trent Barreta and Brodus Clay against a local competitor.
