I heard from a few people in TNA that were really frustrated by Hulk Hogan's statement yesterday that taking Impact live would solve 75% of the company's issues. They see it as yet another ridiculous statement made by someone who is out of touch with what the company needs to do, yet has a lot of say in the direction of the company. The feeling is that while live shows would be great, the company has much bigger issues to deal with (such as reliance on Hogan himself, the inability to book things properly and the pushing of friends and family over actual talented wrestlers). Given how numbers have dropped since Hulk Hogan replaced Sting and Garett and Eric Bischoff have become a focal point of the show, it's hard to argue with them. And that doesn't take into account the cost involved with going live weekly, which TNA has shown at this time they can't recoup.

News is news.

Didn't say I agreed or whatnot, dirt sheet news = news after all. I think it's just the editors opinion anyway (not sure) mixed with some "inside knowledge".

It's pretty obvious that TNA would be unhappy with Hogan - why would he discuss the companies interests on Twitter? It's like Vince McMahon going on Twitter and saying "It's a shame WWE have to add in canned reactions on Smackdown, maybe it's because we're not live". Though this report says they "rely on Hogan", but for what? He doesn't draw so what is it?
