Super pumped guys, a buddy of mine just built a new computer, so hes been handing his old parts to me, practically free of charge.
First off, I upgraded from my old case, to this awesome Cyberpower case, with an all around more maintainable setup.
We took a trip to Microcenter, and got a new powersource. The Corsair CX600, a huge upgrade compared to my old Thermaltake, for $50 on sale.
He hooked me up with a new Asus Graphics Card, for free.
After hours of working, we realized that my old motherboard was too out-dated, to support the new powersource and the graphics card.
Luckily, his brother had an extra MSI motherboard, in top-notch condition, with a CPU, and Fan, that I bought for $120.
Total Amount Spent: $180
We're assembling now, can't wait ti'll its complete. I'll have pics up soon.
