Most on here have heard me mention my one real life wrestling-fan friend. Anyway, we went to the Raw house show (Pre-Game Pandemonium) Sunday afternoon. This was the second house show we went to after having gone to one in June 2012. We had floor seats both times, but this time we had second row seats which were awesome. In some ways I liked the first show we attended more, but this one was also a good show. We've enjoyed both our house show experiences and keep saying we'll have to go to others they have in our area whenever they come up.
There was a really good crowd, especially considering it was Super Bowl Sunday. Of course, there were several more Cena fans than I would have liked, but oh well. I think we were among the very few who were on the "Cena sucks." side of things, along with the cool guy sitting next to us. Several of the wrestlers got mic time, and once again we got to see a "new" face. (Last June we got to see Seth Rollins in singles action.) This time we got to see Conor O'Brian (half of the tag team Ascension from NXT), which was cool. He had a little mic time before starting his match with Ryder and got a pretty good heel reaction. We got to see just how beat to hell the MITB briefcase is, and how hairy Antonio's legs and ass are. Oh, and The Shield entered through the audience right by our section. I was sitting in seat 9, so I was that many seats away from them as they entered alongside our section, which was very cool. They got a good reaction. Plus, it was cool to see Rollins get a reaction this time when back in June the crowd reaction indicated he was pretty much unknown. Also, when Punk came out looking all pissed, he did pretty much the same thing we would see him do on TV Monday night (but was one of those, "Hey cool, we got to see that last night." type things), in that he pulled Justin Roberts into the ring and had him re-announce him as the people's champion. Also, there was a family sitting right in front of me, and when Daniel Bryan came around he ripped up the child's "Yes!" sign, but then later he came back, took off his shirt, and handed it to one of the children in their family, so that was really cool. Talk about being close to the action. Our section was next to the steps leading up to the ring.
Anyway, going to share some photos from each of the matches in order, as well as some miscellaneous photos. I'll just group them in individual posts by match to keep them better organized so people can look at what they want to. Just wanted to share.
