- The August 29th episode of WWE RAW, which ended up being the first RAW Supershow, did a 3.10 cable rating with 4.64 million viewers, as noted before. Below is a segment-by-segment breakdown:
The Randy Orton vs. Dolph Ziggler match lost 276,000 viewers from the opening segment, continuing a trend of viewers tuning out after the first segment. The segment setting up John Cena & Sheamus vs. Mark Henry & Christian gained 204,000 viewers while CM Punk vs. The Miz lost 200,000 viewers in the 10pm timeslot. This is bad for the 10pm timeslot as the pattern is to normally gain 500,000 or so viewers.
Sin Cara vs. Jack Swagger lost 423,000 viewers, normal for that time slot. Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne vs. David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty with Kelly Kelly vs. Brie Bella gained 244,000 viewers. The trailer for Triple H’s Inside Out, the Alex Riley promo video and Triple H announcing the Night of Champions match change lost 262,000 viewers. The main event with Cena & Sheamus vs. Christian & Henry gained 498,000 viewers, below what would be expected for an 11 minute overrun. RAW finished with a 3.21 quarter rating for the overrun.
