Following a story.
- The dark match before tonight’s SummerSlam pay-per-view in Los Angeles at the Staples Center saw WWE United States Champion Dolph Ziggler defeat Alex Riley.

- Some of the celebrities in attendance at tonight’s pay-per-view were Jenny McCarthy, actor Clark Duke (Hot Tub Time Machine), ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons and some of the Dancing with the Stars. Independent wrestlers Johnny Goodtime and Joey Ryan were in the front row as well.
