Ratings For UFC On FX 2

The numbers are in for both of the major MMA events that went down over the weekend: UFC on FX 2: Alves vs. Kampmann.

MMAJunkie reports that UFC on FX 2 drew a viewing audience of 1.4 million on FX, with the FUEL TV-aired preliminary card broadcast pulling in 113,000 viewers. The numbers show a slight increase from the promotion's first event broadcast on the network, with UFC on FX 1 pulling in an audience of 1.3 million.

Pretty decent numbers for a card everybody thought was shit, although in my opnion it was a really good action packed card.

Good to see some growth for UFC. I suspect that if the card had a bit more namepower that the rating would have been much higher. I was one of those that thought the card was poor so they did well to get 1.4 million people to tune in in the first place to give it a shot.

Pretty good rating for a not so good card and especially since it's on FUELTV. Will improve when they have a bigger event on FX.

What was the first FX card, Guillard/Miller?

Alves is a reasonably big name so that probably helped things.

Yeah the first card was Guillard/Miller and co-main-eventing was Duane Ludwig and Josh Neer. I really do think a good Marjory of people tuned into this card though for the Flyweights, but as you said Cork, Alves is a reasonably big name so that likely had a ton to do with it as well.
