I predicted months ago that Seth Rollins would do well in whatever he did, but, is this dude capable of anything else?
He's the #1 heel, clearly, but 99.9 % of the time he's booked doing the exact same schtick each night. I've never seen anything quite like this.
Seth Rollins is a great heel? No he's not, he's a good one. I'm concerned not so much that he's peaking but that he is what he is.
If he's the future, his booking is extremely systematic. Even Randy Orton had more diverse booking on the way up.

Many are injured and I like he's in a position to do so many great things. Geez, does this motherf*cker have to do the exact same sh*t every single night?

Guess we should appreciate a good match when we get it - damn are we spoiled on those nowadays or what - but the big issue with Wyatt and Ambrose is future direction. One wins, one loses, and they both just get jobbed out in the Rumble next month. cool

Besides RINSE, WASH, REPEAT being WWE's mantra, there's also that thing of 'not knowing what to do next' as one of their specialties...

Anyways, Ambrose/Wyatt feud may as well continue into the Rumble. I sure as hell wouldn't mind it.
If Ambrose gets screwed out of the victory at TLC, by The Ascension, like some of the other members and I have been predicting/discussing, then... It could easily go into the Rumble.

If Ambrose ends up putting Wyatt out of his misery at TLC, then what's next for Ambrose? The same thing could be asked vice versa.
Personally, I'd love it if they let Ambrose win the Rumble and then go on to face Rollins at WM31 for the WWE-WHC. This, of course, would be my fantasy booking in a perfect WWE world.

Now... Where does Ambrose go if he doesn't win the Rumble? They can easily pick up on Ambrose/Rollins feud, which is something that everyone wants to see continued and (quite possibly) culminating at WM31.
As far as Wyatt goes... I have no clue. Maybe he'll 'adopt' The Ascension and go on terrorizing the roster with 'em. That's the only thing I could think of. They haven't really been throwing a lot of signals about Bray's future feuds. Hell, he may end up in a feud with Reigns, and we all know how that would end, little Cena 2.0 would probably bury him and nobody wants that.

But we'll see what happens...

Plus, there's no WWE-WHC around and the roster is a bit thin. So, the excitement has been a little bit down lately... And they booked him against Cena at TLC, which is ridiculous... Of course it's gonna get ugly, for lack of a better word.

Yes and no.
WWE knows how to book cats to their strengths. They know how to make Rollins look legit, but how is my problem.
He's supposedly this mastermind capable of manipulating others to do his dirty work.
It sounds a great deal like HHH is living vicariously through Seth Rollins.
I suppose its better than aligning him with a girlfriend. Wait, before long Paige will actually have something to do.
I'm just concerned that this is who Rollins is. He's good, but I'll just have to swallow this 'mastermind' hogwash for the duration of his heel runs.

That's a strawman. My opinion that Reigns should not have won that award is based solely on kayfabe accomplishments. It is in no way a commentary on his ability or anything about him, simply an acknowledgement of the level of achievements assigned him by WWE Creative. I have no doubt that this coming year, Reigns will likely win the the world title and will likely hold it for a good portion of the year. Although he is far from being my favorite wrestler, if he does this, I can acknowledge that he will deserve the Slammy he will likely win next winter. I won't be saying "Oh Dean Ambrose should have won" just because I think he is a better wrestler. It's objective accomplishment if I am viewing the individual wrestlers through a kayfabe lens and nothing else.

But moving past it, it's just a Slammy Award and is meaningless anyway. I mean one year they let Owen Hart steal an award he was not nominated for and WWF considered him to have won the award.

Seth Rollins isn't responsible for how he's booked. Blame the writers, not him. All Seth can do is take whatever material is given to him and produce something great with it, and he does that every week imo.

And while I hate to make excuses for the creative team (although they can't entirely take the blame since Vince is the one in charge who makes all the final calls), I think it's almost unavoidable for a wrestling show not to seem at least somewhat repetitive when it's a program that airs virtually every week of the year. How many times did we have to witness Daniel Bryan either being screwed, being told that he's nothing more than a B+ player, or overcoming whatever "insurmountable" odds that The Authority placed in front of him? Or how many times does Bray Wyatt give a rambling, cryptic promo about something we're not meant to entirely understand?

As much as I love Rollins, I never bought him as this master manipulator type. Bray Wyatt is that type of character, not Rollins. Heck, Ambrose would absolutely kill it in that role.

WWE can say he was the architect of The Shield all they want, but we all know it was Ambrose and we all thought he was gonna be the one to turn on The Shield. But, oh well... Moving on.

Rollins is a good heel, there's no doubt, but he'll make a great face.

Also, fuck the Creative for booking him with Cena in the first place. It's ridiculous. So, what's next for him? Reigns? No, give him Orton so he doesn't get buried.

I realize this and never actually blamed Rollins, per se, but don't you believe they know him better than we do?
WWE knows John Cena and that his best heel work would be based off his face momentum.
Is it not possible that WWE knows Colby Lopez (Rollins) and feels booking him in any other fashion might lose heat?
A heel can be booked a variety of ways, but WWE systematically books. Is it out of laziness or is it out of studying talent and knowing them best.
If the answer is the latter, my point is made. Rollins seems cookie cutter of the same mold and WWE doesn't seem prime to alter it under any condition.

For this guy to be their future I hope to see better, especially when he's booked in programs with the likes of Ambrose and Wyatt.

True. I can appreciate the chess game WWE is playing, but setting Rollins as the Architect is lol.
Everybody knows Ambrose was the unofficial leader from the beginning. Anybody with sense could tell this.
Ignore him running with the singles belt for a full year, while Rollins/Reigns were relegated to tag team gold.

I've just admitted HHH handed him that role because that's what he randomly decided. Rollins is a no-miss talent that won't screw things up.
HHH chose him as the first NXT Champion and Rollins is HHH's first designated dog for the future (after Sin Cara lol).
