Opening

The show opened with Charlotte Flair. The Riot Squad then also came to the ring. Ruby claimed the Riott Squad was put together to destroy the myth of Charlotte. Charlotte said she had more stress than most wrestlers due to being Flair's daughter. Ruby insulted Charlotte and Charlotte advanced on her. The Riott Squad then entered the ring. They were interupted by Bobby Roode.

Randy Orton vs Jinder Mahal

Mahal won by pin fall due to interference from Bobby Roode.

Becky Lynch vs Carmella

Carmella won by submission

AJ Styles Interview

AJ talked about his title defense and asserted that he would win the championship because he wanted to face Nakamura at Mania. Dolph Ziggler then came out to interrupt him. They bickered until a match was decided on.

AJ Styles vs Dolph Ziggler

Zayn and Owens attacked the guys in the match causing it to be thrown out. Ziggler and AJ eventually disposed of them. Shane McMahon then came out. Everyone assumed he would make a tag team mach but he made a fatal fiveway between Ziggler, AJ, KO, Zayn and Baron Corbin.


Zayn pinned KO to win the match

That ending has something they could build with but you pretty much got the main event of the ppv minus Cena right there.

This show was more good than it was bad. Definitely better than Raw, though. It really didn't do anything to make Fastlane any more suspenseful, but was still a decent watch. I give it a 6

First time i watched Smackdown in months... It was a decent show.. It's cool Bobby Roode is feuding with Randy Orton, had no idea that was going on. I love both guys.. It seems a lot easier to digest than RAW because of the 2 hour format.. RAW seems like a drag most weeks.

Okay... lets see what happening on "The Becky & Charlotte" Show this week...

~ So as much as I'd rather see wrestling than talking...why did Bobby Roode
make his entrance at that moment?

And what's with Charlotte's reaction?


Also I'm calling it now...Asuka shows up at Fastlane, kicks Liv & Sarah in the face
allowing Charlotte to retain & then challenges the Queen to a match at Wrestlemania.

~ So...does anyone in WWE history have a better record against Randy Orton than Jinder?

We should call him the Viper Killer!

~ I really feel this Owens/Zayn team could have been used to its true potential feuding
with the Usos & New Day for the tag titles.

~ Moron Corbin is still a Moron...

~ And Rusev will once again be buried on pay per view to make someone else look
strong. Anyone who claims wrestlers make their own push is a fucking idiot.

~ And Becky "with the Nice thighs" gets a win! Yay! Carmella eats another pin! Boo!

For those keeping track at home...Carmella has still only won 4 televised singles matches
in the last 14 months. She's going to make a fine champion when she cashes in right?

Still...that red outfit is pretty awesome...

Becky & Naomi vs. Natalya & Carmella? Okay...I mean we've seen it so many times
at this point...but I love Becky so I down for it.

I just hope the match doesn't end with Becky tapping out to the sharpshooter again...
I've seen that too many times to count at this point.

~ Styles is pretty awesome...I just want to say that.

~ And basically the end of the show serves as hype for the Fastlane main event...
minus that Cena guy...& I must say its great to see Zayn get a win...even if it
doesn't really mean anything.

And I'm done!

Edit: And in the Mixed Match Challenge The Monster & the Bitch went over with
Bliss pinning Naomi...so much for Naomi having a near perfect record against Alexa...
God forbid she doesn't pin every other woman on roster.

I can't say I shocked...

God I fucking despise Bliss at this point.

Why can't that still happen? I really hope they don't do Zayn v Owens at Mania. I agree Zayn and KO could team with each over for another year or so. Its obvious that KO and Sami are not gonna win on sunday. So why not have them challenge for the tag titles at mania?

I think it's because of the Mixed Tag Challenge, which airs right after Smackdown Live. I didn't understand at first, but once I saw the Mixed Tag Challenge, a light bulb went off. But, yeah, it looks like she's in loooove.

In my opinion, Smackdown was as "yawn" worthy as RAW, but it does things better despite the 2 hour format.
