Opening

The show opened with the New Day talking about the match between Xavier Woods and Jinder Mahal for the US title tournament. They were interrupted by the Singh Brothers who introduced Mahal.

US Title Tournament Semi Final match: Xaiver Woods vs Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal won and advanced to the final of the tournament

AJ Styles

AJ talked about the Yep movement and his handicap match. He made the point that in the handicap match, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were not facing anyone normal they were facing AJ Styles and he would retain.

US Title Semi Final Match: Mojo Rawley vs Bobby Roode

Bobby Roode won by pin fall. The Singh Brothers attacked him and then Jinder Mahal proclaimed himself as the next champion. Bobby Roode suggested they do it tonight. Mahal turned it down because he wanted Roode to think about it for a week. Daniel Bryan came out and scheduled the match for tonight.

Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Naomi vs the Riott Squad

Morgan pinned Naomi to win the match

Backstage

The Usos were being interviewed and they were attacked and beat down by Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable

US Championship Final: Bobby Roode vs Jinder Mahal

Bobby Roode won and became the new United States champion.

Okay... lets see what happening on "The Becky & Charlotte" Show this
week...

~ Sorry Xavier...you can't Hinder Jinder!

~ Even if Moron Corbin does win the rumble...they'll just take the title
shot away from him after he pisses off the wrong person backstage or
on Twitter.

~ I kind of feel bad for Charlotte...I mean she's the Champion...but
she doesn't get to take part in the Women's rumble.

I really hope Becky wins it...or Ruby...either one & I'll be happy
for the rest of the year.

~ That was a Glorious victory...

~ Jinder vs. Bobby for the U.S title...tonight? Okay...sure...why not.

~ I really hope Orton doesn't win another Rumble...

~ Yay! Becky & Charlotte are in action tonight! Yay! And its against
the Riott Squad! Yay! Oh...& Naomi is here to I guess.

*Watches*

And the Riott Squad gets the win...but at least Becky didn't eat the pin.

This constant stream of 3 on 3 women's matches on both brands is getting
pretty annoying. How about developing some actual feuds? Like Carmella
vs. Liv Morgan...or just anybody vs. anybody without the entire division
being involved at ringside.

~ Okay...so the Usos are on TV...but they might not be next week after this
segment.

~ I really do hope Nakamura wins the Rumble...

~ I guess no matter how much the crowd wants it...the WWE will just not
push Rusev. I wouldn't be surprised if the WWE scrap the Rusev Day gimmick
soon...because heaven forbid anyone actually get over on their own.

~ And Jinder...has been hindered. Congratulations to Bobby Roode...may his
reign be Glorious.

Also...I'm really liking the fact that Charlotte, A.J, Bobby & the Usos
are all Champions on the blue brand as of the time of me posting this.

Although it is possible the tag titles are about to be vacated I guess.

And I'm done!

A solid 7. Glad Bobby Roode won the belt. But with the Usos sort of faces now, all of the belts on Smackdown are face belts. I think that means the Usos are on the verge of losing their title. But I don't mind. I think Chad Gable would look yummy as hell with a tag team belt around his waist. Then I can start making Grievous like comments about Gable all the time

Other than that, there wasn't anything spectacular but it was solid.

I honestly think Corey Graves is just amazing as heel commentator. He reminds me so much of Jesse Ventura. There are wrestlers that are faces like Bobby Roode that he likes and heels like Elias that he does not like. It does more for his character, to not just be so narrow that he only likes people because they are heel or face. Refreshing. He has never dissed Bobby Roode and that's awesome.

You know, there's also the chance that we see Bobby Roode do what he is best at, being a heel. I think the US title should be a heel title, except when John Cena held it and did the Open Challenge.

Okay I am babbling.

Massive pile of crap this week!

No sense in bringing the US title final forward especially with how clean the whole win was!

No way to carry this forward unless Ziggler does a CM Punk and comes back next week.

The woman’s tag match, errr yeah I’m sure this is the 4th week in a row...it’s REALLY exciting now!
Jeez the Mae Young classic makes Better watching than this undeveloped storyline.

And yeh let’s give the big guns the night off coz KO is injured, great way to build up a PPV title match!
