WWE Monday Night Raw comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Feb. 23, 2015) from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, featuring all the fallout from the Fastlane pay-per-view (PPV) that went down just last night in Memphis, Tennessee.

Quick Recap:
  • Orton returns to RAW to get something off his chest to the Authority.
  • Dolph Ziggler def. BNB.
  • Primetime Players def. The Ascension.
  • The Usos def. Tyson Kidd & Cesaro via DQ, thus TK and Cesaro retained the titles.
  • Backstage Miz & Mizdow segment.
  • Jack Swagger def. Stardust by submission after Goldust's music hit and he came out and distracted him.
  • John Cena challenged Rusev to a rematch at Wrestlemania 31, Rusev said 'No' and walked away w/ Lana.
  • Brief Locker Room segment between Orton and Rollins.
  • The Bella Twins def. Paige & Emma via Brie pinning Emma.
  • Bushwhackers HOF Induction Announcement
  • Curtis Axel announces his Participation in the ATG BR, Ryback responds with the same then defeats Curtis.
  • Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns def. Seth Rollins & Randy Orton via DB pinning Seth.
  • Randy RKOs Jamie Noble then seemed to turn on Seth but merely just gave him a pat.
What did you all think of the show? Put your answer in the poll and shed some light on why you did so!

I gave it a 5/10, which granted might be a tad high.. It was probably more of a 4/10.

Didn't care for a good portion of the show, it started off with the right bang but didn't capitalize IMO, the Main Event was solid as well as the DZ vs BNB match..

I gave it a 5/10. It was sort of humdrum, but I wasn't expecting too much after a good PPV... typically the following show doesn't really follow through nowadays

I liked:

Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns interactions. Both guys were completely cool with each other. I loved Roman's laughing when Bryan blind tagged himself in. That was nice to see.

Heyman, as always.

Main Event was a decent match. I liked how they didn't go the typical way you would have expected with Orton. Although I am sure Orton is just biding his time to get his eventual revenge, it is good WWE did not go for that right away. Him apparently getting along with the Authority was a swerve in a company not known lately for good swerves.

Kidd and Cesaro vs the Usos. I like having Natty and Tyson on the same page. As I have mentioned before, the whole Tyson treating Natty like crap gimmick sucked. On a separate note, I have been making jokes about Kidd looking like a gay porn star. Those fashion pictures of him pulling the front of his underwear down did absolutely nothing to hurt my jabs at him.

Bray Wyatt was awesome. He is finally becoming the guy I knew he could be.

Ziggler vs BNB was okay

I didn't like:

Cena's incessant narration

Stardust vs Swagger was boring and had a crap ending

PTP vs Ascension was bad and I have no idea why PTP won

I already knew about the Bushwhackers, but how does a tag team who may have one two or three matches and had Jamison as a manager get inducted into the hall of fame before: The Hart Foundation, Demolition, Fuji and Tanaka, The Moondogs, The British Bulldogs, the Steiners, the Rockers, the New Age Outlaws.... it is the most pointless and stupid induction.

Axel v Ryback

Diva tag match

Tennessee in general

I dunno, pretty much nothing was must see on it.

6/10- Watchable, unlike most Raws.

Positives

Ziggler Vs BNB was pretty good
The Usos Vs Kidd and Cesaro was entertaining.
Curtis Axel's promo. I'm actually liking this angle.
Reigns and Daniel Bryan promos were decent- plus Heyman.
Main event match without DQ shenanigans.

Negatives

The divas tag 'match'. Seriously, just drop the division if this is how all divas matches are going to go down. I fail to see why any female wrestler would have their life goal be to get on the main roster. What an absolute shitstorm, waste of talent.
Skipped Cena and Rusev because... Cena talking.

Not enough to care

Ascension Vs PTP. They've made a shitty job of debuting the Ascension and I never cared for PTP that much (if at all) anyway.

Watching now.

Just wanted to pop in to say it's the "accolade" Cena, not the "acolyte". Get it right old man.

Gave it a 0.

Terrible show, terribly uneventful. Way too much fucking Orton. Puke all over my goddamn shoes. I don't give a shit about him or his dealing with the Authority. Bryan/Reigns was decent interaction. Heyman was simply OK by his standards. This is the RTWM? Color me unimpressed folks.

Overall, it wasn't a good follow-up to Fastlane, although it had its watchable moments. 5/10

Positives:
- The openning segment was good, I liked Orton's promo. I also liked Orton's strategy of keeping his enemies closer than his friends.

- DZ vs BNB was quite alright. Ambrose coming out after the match and acting a little bit dick-ish was... Hmm, interesting, but also weird at the same time. It's like they don't know what to do with this IC title. But, they've totally hinted at a Fatal Four-Way at WM 31. Whoever wins it, and I'm guessing it'll be Ambrose, the curse will be passed on him. Great!

- Reigns/DB segment. Such an emotional promo by Bryan, Bryan was a bit edgy in that promo, I liked that.

- Heyman/Reigns segment. Heyman's promo was great like usual, Reigns' promo was good.

- Cesaro & Tyson Kidd vs The Usos was decent. But God forbid the heels retain clean.

- Bray Wyatt segment was awesome. I'm back to loving this guy's promos.

- DB & Reigns vs Rollins & Orton was good. Seeing DB & Reigns being cool with each other was nice.

Negatives:
- PTP vs The Ascension was garbage.
- Stardust vs Swagger was garbage, the finish to the match was so cringe-worthy.
- Ryback vs Axel was garbage. A total waste of time.

The 'I don't give a toss' about this segment:
- Gladly skipped John 'The Narrator' Cena segment.
- Whatever divas match was on.

Literally none of these were on the 90 minute Hulu version of the show haha.

Which actually brings up a good question for me - if they can cut it down to 90 mins for Hulu why not just do it for when it's live? Everyone says the damn show is too long on Monday nights anyway. I guess it gives them more to pick and choose from to make those 90 mins better quality maybe.

USA Network wants the extra hour. This isn't WWE's doing.

OIC. They'd have to fill that extra hour with something I suppose. And RAW is bound to get some viewers I imagine. Probably more than whatever shit show USA could fill in the time with.
