I feel bad for Roman, I really do. I have never been a fan of his but he doesn't deserve this. He doesn't deserve to lose his title due to an illness. My prayers for you, Roman, always.

Other than that, I can't say I really liked the show. The ending seemed forced and it makes little sense that a team would win the tag team championship and then split up. Dean Ambrose will be a great heel, but this was done poorly.

Some bits were boring, others were great. 2 great turns, and the sad news of Roman having to relinquish the title. 6/10

Actually enjoyed this episode, Ambrose heel turn at the end was great. Elias babyface turn was amazing as well.

All the making history talk is vomit inducing, but besides that it was a decent show 7/10

the Reigns thing really put a damper on the rest of the show for me. But seeing that Ambrose turned on Rollins brought it back a bit and is the embodiment of "the show must go on". Having them win the tag titles right beforehand made it even better, I think this was the right move. Looking forward to finally seeing Ambrose as a heel. If the original Shield run is any indication, then it's safe to say that Ambrose is a natural dickhead

I got the alert about Roman at work, and instantly thought oh man they're really trying hard with this guy aren't you?... for five seconds before realizing no, there's no way.
Seeing that segment later made me want to stand up and help. Like, his spirit was commendable and I hope he kicks cancer's ass, but... It's just sad that this is still a thing.
It's sad though, that this looks like a really good raw (by 3 hour era standards) but after the Roman thing I don't see how you can get the crowd - home or live - can get back into the show

Wow...

Okay...

So...

Honestly & truthfully as much as I have been outspoken
in my dislike for Roman Reigns & his overall booking...no
human being deserves this.

It doesn't change my opinion of him & his booking...but
I do wish him a speedy recovery.

I could comment on Sasha eating ANOTHER pin or
Ambrose turning on Rollins...but I really don't feel like
it to be honest.

I actually feel slightly bad for all the times I have wished
ill will on Roman.

I mean...I never wanted anything like this to befall the guy...
I just wanted other performers to be given a fair chance.

Ugh...

I think I owe Roman & all of his fans an apology for my
slander & harsh words over the last two years.

So...

I'm sorry.

This episode reeked a lot of emotions from me. A very eventful episode indeed.

Ronda and Nikki's promo, Lashley vs Balor, Elias' face turn and the main event and Dean's turn were all really good.

But of course the most notable thing that happened...

What was revealed about Roman is tragic and is big blow but for some reason I have gained a lot of hope and strength from he's promo. It doesn't seem right to call it a promo as it is so real. The show must go on and I hope Roman get's back on stage as soon as possible.

This will certainly go down as one of the most memorable editions of RAW in recent history, however not necessarily for all the right reasons.

As the show opened and Roman came out casually dressed up in jeans and a cool looking t-shirt, my first thought was “ok, that’s a nice little change of things”; little did I now, as I’m sure everyone else, of what was about to go down. Without a doubt, a very shitty situation and it goes without saying that my thoughts go out to him for a speedy recovery. He beat this thing once, hopefully he’ll pull through once more and make his return soon.

I, too, was (and still am, regardless) amongst the majority of fans that opposed the way WWE handled Roman Reigns the character and had expressed my displeasure on numerous occasions, however, again, this had to do with the character, NOT the person, as specified on each and every one of my posts regarding the matter. That being said, all we can do is hope and pray for the guy and when he beats this and returns, we’ll get back to the criticism, though I feel that won’t be necessary anymore.

Ironically enough, who would have thought that it would take such a very serious real life situation to turn Roman Reigns into one the biggest baby faces, ultimately accomplishing what WWE had been trying all this time. I mean, how could anyone possibly boo the guy when (yes, I’d like to think “when” instead of “if”) he returns.

Speaking of “turns”, the Roman Reigns situation obviously caused a necessary chain reaction, which I think will benefit the show moving forward. The biggest talking point was obviously Dean Ambrose’s heel turn and whether the timing of it was appropriate, to which I say it could not have been more brilliant, especially in terms of shock value. We all knew it was eventually going to happen, WWE kept teasing and building for that moment and though it was something predictable, it still came as a major surprise this past Monday so looking at it that way, to me it was a huge success and one of the greatest turns in history.

Aside from Dean Ambrose, Braun is back to being the baby face he was meant to be and from the looks of it, they seem to pulling the trigger with Elias, something that I have personally been wanting to see for quite some time. With his gimmick, this could really be huge…

Elsewhere, I’d probably say “meh”. For example, they’ve got my somewhat interest in the Ronda/Nikki thing, yet I find it hard to buy into Nikki Bella and I feel they will be complete idiots if a title change occurs. Then again, they did break Asuka’s streak so…who knows?

I could also rant about how Bailey and/or Sasha Banks (add Ruby Riot for that matter) are wasted in a meaningless 6-woman tag instead of, I don’t know, participate in the Battle Royal (at the very least) to perhaps earn a title shot down the road? Fuck it, I ain’t in the mood so I’ll leave it at that…

Read this elsewhere, posting it here.

"If they want to talk about "breaking barriers", the best thing that could happen at Evolution is if all six women in the tag match totally go rogue and try to put on an absolute clinic the likes of an NJPW opening sprint or an ROH-six man. They don't have anything to lose at this point, they may as well try to stand out"
