Raw Results

1. The Authority opened the show announcing that they will determine the main even of Fastlane by the end of the show. The winner of that main event will face Triple H at Wrestlemania for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

2. Kevin Owens defeated Dolph Ziggler after hitting a pop up powerbomb.

3. JoJo approaches Roman Reigns and asks him his opinion on the Authority's annoucement. Roman admitted he hadn't heard it and told JoJo to tell the Authority he had arrived.

4. The Social Outcasts come out and taunt Flo Rida and this results in Flo Rida announcing the Dudley Boyz as their opponents.

5. The Dudley Boyz defeat the Social Outcasts when Curtis Axel is hit with a 3D. Flo Rida came out and celebrated with Dudleyz.

6. AJ Styles defeated Chris Jericho after a roll up. The two shake hands afterwards but Jericho holds onto Styles's hand and looks him sternly in the eye.

7. Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch... a winner was not announced as Charlotte came into the ring and attacked both Banks and Lynch as Banks had Lynch in the bank statement.

8. Goldust asks R Truth to be his tag partner, but R Truth assumes that Goldust is coming onto him and leaves. The name Golden Truth is mentioned

9. Bray Wyatt defeated Kane after Wyatt hit Sister Abigail on Kane. After the match, the Wyatt family attacked Kane.

10. Rich Brennan goes to the limo that has been supposedy concealing the big superstar rumored to return to Raw. The Miz emerges to a round of boos. Then the Rock pulls up in his pickup truck. The Rock then teases the Miz, brings the Big Show to tears by telling him that if he officially won the 2000 Royal Rumble, the Big Show would have been in "The Mummy Returns," and teases Lana by claiming they had sex. The Rock is confronted by the New Day and when they refuse to get in the ring with the Rock, the Usos come out and they and the Rock take out the entire New Day.

11. Paige and Natayla defeated Alicia Fox and Brie Bella.

12. Kalisto defeated the Miz after hitting Salida del Sol.

13. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose defeated Sheamus and Rusev after Reigns hit Sheamus with a Spear.

14. Stephanie McMahon then announces the main event of Fastlane is Roman Reigns vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Brock Lesnar, with the winner facing Triple H at Wrestlemania.

7/10. I enjoyed the show and we had a really good chat. A few members that I really like but haven't got to chat with much lately were in the chat and it was awesome. The show itself was all right, not great, but it had it's good moments and it flowed really well.

I liked:

AJ Styles vs Chris Jericho... match of the night... was awesome.

The Rock. Everything the Rock did was great. I mostly loved how he brought Show to tears.

Kevin Owens vs Dean Amrose. A very entertaining match.

Goldust and R Truth... Truth has been very entertaining lately

Banks vs Lynch.. it wasn't great but wasn't bad. I always enjoy Sasha.

Triple H at the beginning, not so much Steph and the old man.

The main event... routine, but I wasn't bored.

I didn't like:

Nattie and Paige vs Bella and Fox

Kalisto vs Miz

Wyatt vs Kane... been done to death already.

Outcasts vs Dudleyz

 

[Rogue]

AJ Styles vs Jericho was MOTN, surprised it ended with a handshake. The entire Rock segment with The New Day was awesome, even though Usos got involved. Figured he would've plugged something, or put over Roman all while having a limited outline to go by. But he was just out there for fun, it showed. Kalisto vs Miz was actually solid, figured it would've been another Miz squash. Owens vs Ziggler was fine, but we've seen it before. And by the exact same two men nonetheless. The Main Event served it's purpose, but it wasn't great. Standard tag match really. With how it ended Ambrose should've dropped the title to Owens yesterday. Anyways, Lesnar vs Roman vs Ambrose will be cool. Predictable but cool.

The diva's matches weren't bad, but if I could trade both of them for one really solid diva match I would. The rest was just there for the most part.

I agree with the majority of the votes being 7s, it wasn't bad. But it wasn't great, it was just good.

Sidenote, Triple H is just a little bit better on the mic when his ego is inflated.

I thought AJ and Jericho was pretty bad tbh. Had to redo moves in like 2 different occasions cause of fuck ups. They both looked lost tbh moreso AJ. Still love him though.
Rock was dope tho.

Yeah, it certainly wasn't a great match. It was the most entertaining of the bunch, though. Styles got a couple of his spots in, but didn't really highlight what he ccold do. Was thinking it was going to go somewhere after it ended with a roll up, but I guess not.

 

[Mr. Roman Empire]

8/10 and that's pretty much only because of The Rock. He was on FIRE tonight. Every bit of that segment was great and it's the best I have seen him on the mic in WWE in years. Looks like Rock & Usos vs The New Day at Wrestlemania since HHH and Lesnar have plans?

The rest was pretty average stuff. I thought AJ and Jericho could of had a much better match. I feel like it's been a really long time since Y2J has had a classic match and I thought this was gonna be the moment but I guess not. Also I thought he should of went full heel at the end and attacked AJ after that handshake.

Also Lesnar vs Ambrose vs Reigns is a bomb ass match. That main event alone sounds way better than HHH vs Reigns, Bray vs Brock, and Ambrose vs Y2J all combined. Why isn't that triple threat match the main event for Wrestlemania??

You're crazy if you think they'd throw The Rock into a tag match instead of a singles match at "the biggest Wrestlemania of all time." The segment between Rock and The New Day was a lot of fun, but similar to the Rusev and Lana segment from last year, that's all it was. Just a way to combine two different entertaining acts who you knew would produce comedy gold together and deliver a memorable Raw segment.

The segment between Rock and The New Day was a lot of fun, but similar to the Rusev and Lana segment from last year, that's all it was. Just a way to combine two different entertaining acts who you knew would produce comedy gold together and deliver a memorable Raw segment.

I dunno. The Rock is supposed to be filming a movie during Wrestlemania time. Putting him in a tag match, although underwhelming, might be the easiest way to have him in a match while limiting the chance of him being injured. He could be on the outside of the ring for the majority of the match and only get tagged in for the finish.

I'm not saying that I would enjoy that, but it might be the safest way to use him while having him compete.

It's very predictable that the main event of mania will be Reigns vs. Triple H, I think the Styles vs. Jericho match was a dream come true, The Rock of course great as usual

AJ Styles and Jericho was the only good match on the show, the main-event sucked, a lot of filler matches, the divas match was terrible as usual.. The Rock's promo was pretty good, but i think people were expecting someone else.

They need to step up their game.

It was cool. The first half of raw was great, and as much as I dislike modern rock, he was perfect that night. The Jericho/Aj interactions were good to see, and I loved the heel turn tease at the end of the match.


Also, Trips is champion, so I'm on cloud nine right now.

As a sidenote, the main-event was meh, and for the first time in probably forever, I'm certain Brock Lesnar will NOT win. There is just no way in frozen hell they would go for Trips vs Brock IV at the main event

Just for the ROCK and that whole excellent segment, I'm giving a perfect 10/10. I know, I know, it wasn't the perfect show overall but that segment alone just made my night so...why the hell not? We've (rightfully so) bitched and complained about the constant garbage we've been fed every week so I decided to be more generous regarding this particular show since I actually had a fuckin good time watching it. It was about damn time, don't you think?

As for my thoughts regarding the major announcement made at the end of the show, I'll post my thoughts on the road to Wrestlemania thread...
