Rate Raw on a scale of 0 to 10 and please give us your thoughts on the show below!

Opening

Seth Rollins came to the ring to criticize Roman Reigns for being suspended for violating the wellness policy. He demanded that Reigns be taken out of the Battleground match and that he get to go one on one with Ambrose. Dean then came to the ring and accused Rollins of just being angry that he had the belt. AJ Styles then came to the ring and at first demanded Roman be removed from the match and he added in. When this didn't go over well, Styles then asked for a fatal fourway. Then, however, John Cena came to the ring and said he deserved a match and asked for it to be made a fatal five way.

Stephanie McMahon then came to the ring and made several matches. The first being John Cena vs Seth Rollins, the second being Dean Ambrose vs AJ Styles. She added the stipulation that if Cena or Styles won, they would be added to the Battleground main event.

Paige and Sasha Banks vs Charlotte and Dana Brooke

Paige and Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte and Dana Brooke by submission when Sasha hit the backstabber on Brooke and then rolled it into the bank statement.

Rusev vs Titus O'Neil

Titus O'Neil defeated Rusev by a countout when he threw Rusev over the barricade and slipped back into the ring.

Kane and Stephanie Segment

Kane tried to convince Stephanie that he should be allowed to run Smackdown. Stephanie told Kane she would be running Smackdown. The Miz then showed up and was wondering why he didn't get a red carpet return back to the WWE after shooting his role in Marine 5. Kane then tried promoted his latest film. Kane then insisted that Miz has to defend his IC title every 30 days and Stephanie then put Miz into a title defense with an unknown opponent.

John Cena vs Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins defeated John Cena by pinfall after the Club came to the ring to distract John Cena. Rollins took advantage and hit Cena with a pedigree and got a three count. As a result, Cena is out of the match at Battleground.

Enzo and Cass vs Two Jobbers

Enzo and Cass defeated two jobbers by pinfall in less than a minute.

After the match, the Social Outcasts returned and labeled themselves Hard, no SAWFT. After arguing about who was the hardest, the Outcasts tried to get into the ring. Heath Slater got knocked down and then Axel and Bo Dallas moved off.

Making Darren Young Great Again

Bob Backlund tried to influence Darren Young to make this era the Darren Young era.

Summer Rae vs Becky Lynch no star

Natalya was at ringside doing commentary for this match. Rather than starting the match, Becky attacked Natalya at ringside. The referee had to hold Becky back as Natalya left ringside. The match never happened.

The Highlight Reel with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn made it clear that neither his nor Kevin Owens' careers were going anywhere until they ended their rivalry. He implored to put an end to the rivalry at Battleground. Zayn told Owens to admit that he was just jealous that Zayn was signed to WWE first. Owens insisted that he was not upset that Zayn got signed before him. He insisted he was happy for Sami. He said that Sami couldn't be happy for him, though, when he beat Sami for the NXT title and that this proves that Owens is a better friend to Zayn than Zayn was to Owens. He agreed to one more match at Battleground.

Jericho then told Sami that he was indeed a bad friend to Owens and that is because Sami cares too much about what the fans think. Jericho told Zayn that he wanted to slap his "idiot face." But he deferred to Owens rather than hitting him. He then told them that they both were only enhanced by his presence in the ring. Then, Jericho did his whole "Gift of Jericho" speel and then Sami and Owens both kicked Jericho in the face.

The Miz vs Kane for the Intercontinental Championship

The Miz had a match for the IC title with a mystery opponent who was revealed to be Kane. During the match, Marysse pretended to get hurt and fell off the ring apron. Miz then took her from ringside and lost by countout.

Cesaro and Apollo Crews vs Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio

Cesaro and Crews defeated Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio when Del Rio left ringside and Crews hit Sheamus with the spinning sit down powerbomb. Sheamus tagged himself in early in the match in the middle of Del Rio performing a move, creating friction between the two. This is why Del Rio left.

There was a small promo where Stephanie interrupted a Dean Ambrose interview to tell him she was getting one step closer to ending his pathetic title reign.

The New Day and Wyatt Family Promo

The New Day came out dressed up like members of the Wyatt Family, after announcing that "We're here!" The New Day insisted that the Wyatt Family started the fight and they needed a big old bowl of Booty O's. After mocking the Wyatts for a it, the Wyatt Family interrupted and came out. Bray Wyatt then began mocking the New Day's catch phrases. Bray tried to influence Xavier Woods again. He then said "New Day falls" and then he was gone.

AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose

Seth Rollins was at ringside doing commentary during this match. About 15 minutes into the match, the Club came down to the ring to distract Ambrose. Cena then also came down to the ring, beat up the Club, distracted AJ which gave Ambrose the time to hit AJ with dirty deeds and get the pin. The Club then attacked Cena outside of the ring while Seth Rollins hit Dean Ambrose with the Pedigree. The Club hit the magic killer on Cena on the stage. AJ then berated Cena as he lay on the stage. Rollins then put Ambrose into a second pedigree before raising the belt up in the air.

I am actually giving the show a 7. I enjoyed it for what it was. @Aids Johnson If you watch any of it, the Cena vs Rollins match was good and the Highlight Reel was good. I'm not sure you'd be interested in anything else though.

I liked:

The opening was okay, especially when Stephanie came out and made the matches.

Paige and Sasha Banks vs Charlotte and Dana Brooke **1/2 This was a decent match, nothing special but it was a good tag match.

Rusev vs Titus O'Neil ** I was indifferent to this match actually but I like how Titus pulled out the win by countout.

John Cena vs Seth Rollins *** Easily the match of the night. It would have been ***1/2 if not for the ending

Enzo and Cass and the Social Outcast post match stuff.

The Highlight Reel with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn This was pretty awesome. I loved the end where Zayn and Owens both kicked Jericho.

The New Day and Wyatt Family Promo

AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose. **1/2 This wasn't anything great, but it was an entertaining match. The ending was predictable.

I didn't like:

Kane and Stephanie Segment

Enzo and Cass vs Two Jobbers * Pointliess jobber match

Making Darren Young Great Again I really just don't like these segments. I like Bob Backlund and Darren Young but these segments are awful.

Summer Rae vs Becky Lynch no star

The Miz vs Kane for the Intercontinental Championship 0 * An awful match with an awful ending. They give us a title match and this is what we ended up with. The fake injury was just idiotic.

Cesaro and Apollo Crews vs Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio *1/2 I just had no interest in this.

Styles vs Rollins is such an obvious 'dream' match, and WWE knows it. Ambrose and Styles are my two faves, though. Just wish it would've been more than BattleGround build.
Kane being the surprise to face The Miz? Don't even think Solidus was happy about that.
Are we getting Del Rio vs Sheamus for the 12000th time? Ugh.
I want to like Apollo, I really do. Just needs a good foil. Corbin yeah? No? :okay:

Didn't watch btw, can't score.

Pretty good RAW other than the boring diva matches.. 7/10 seems like a good rating.

Good show. 3 hours didn't feel like a chore to watch and the good outweighed the bad. 7/10

Positives:
- The show opening segment with Rollins, Ambrose, Styles and Cena was a'ight.

- Paige & Sasha vs Charlotte & Dana was decent.

- The Miz and Maryse were great.

- Rollins vs Cena was pretty good and MOTN. And of course Cena lost via distraction. Anyways, strong outing from both guys as usual. I can't help but love that Superplex/Falcon Arrow combo, it's a finisher-caliber move.

- Enzo & Cass and The Social Outcasts making dick jokes. Vince has got to love 'em.

- The Highlight Reel with Sami Zayn and KO was great.

- The New Day's shenanigans. Them being dressed up like Wyatts and mocking them, especially their "We're here" intro was hilarious. Also, Woods being mesmerized by Wyatt was great.

- Ambrose vs Styles was a good ME. Also, Magic Killer on the ramp, followed by Rollins hitting Ambrose with a Pedigree was nice.

Negatives:
- Everything else.

I also loved KO's logic as to why he stabbed his best friend in the back: You didn't congratulate me for knocking the fuck out of you to win the NXT title. OMG, Sami Zayn! You are the shittiest friend ever!!! :ko:

I LOVED that Highlight Reel segment. Hopefully there's a stipulation added to KO/Zayn match.

Oh, and BTW (said this in another thread already)... Has anyone noticed the WWE-WHC being referred to as simply the 'WWE Championship' again?!

SmackDown is definitely getting its own world title again following the draft. The Big Gold Belt is probably going to be revived again, which is something I wouldn't mind.

As much as I'd like to, I find it hard to share the same enthousiasm regarding RAW the other night and the best I can give it is a mere 3/10...

The show appeared to start off with a bang, between Seth Rollins commenting on the Roman Reigns situation as well as the twitter post and up until AJ Styles made his way to the ring. For a split second, when Styles's music hit I thought "ok, interesting" but then realized "oh, right, wait for John Cena" and when Cena's music hit, the first thing that popped into my head was Elimination Chamber. Yeah, hold your horses, I know it ain't happening but for whatever reason it was the first thing that came to mind; hey, you've got to admit, it would be a heck of a match, wouldn't it?

Then came Stephanie, booking two theoretically big matches in which Cena and Styles were given the opportunity to insert themselves in the main event at Battleground, should they beat Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose respectively. Now, again, theoretically both matches were fine, however these two otherwise big time matches were given to us on a night where they practically meant nothing due to the predictability factor. Had WWE chosen a different route, sure, I'd be more than fine with both matches but knowing from the getco that neither Cena nor Styles were winning, both felt meaningless. See, if it were up to me, I'd have Cena lose (as they did) but then have AJ Styles win, only so Styles can have one more over Cena, as in "I beat you at MITB and now I cost you a title shot right before I earned my own" or, in another scenario, I'd force Rollins to pair up with Ambrose and Styles to pair up with Cena in a tag match with the obvious stipulation in regards of what happens for either team if they win.

I also find it interesting that Roman Reigns is still kept in the main event for Battleground. Granted, a triple threat match between all former members of the Shield is something we've all been waiting for for a long time however I don't see the circumstances being exactly ideal with his current suspension and all. I mean, how is it that he gets suspended but still granted a title shot literally hours upon his return? Oh, yeah, I forgot, he's the golden boy...It's like I fuck up at work, get suspended for a month without pay and all but when I return back, I get a raise or maybe a promotion or maybe a payed vacation to Hawai...

You know what the scariest part of it all is? If upon his return they give him the belt back. Could WWE really be that stupid? I'm afraid so but here's hoping that logic will prevail and by logic, I mean that the Triple Threat happens and Roman Reigns eats the pin. Quite frankly, I'd have Ambrose pin Reigns, in which case Seth Rollins can then claim that he never got pinned and will still ask for a 1 on 1 with the champ.

As far as the rest of the show:

- This Dean Ambrose "being an embarresment" thing has got to stop; been there, done that already. So much for creativity...

- Dana Brooke is still a bimbo to me; she looks like one, she acts like one and her no selling and fuck ups every week require she gets sent back to wherever she came from cause aside from everything else, I think she's hurting Charlotte with her presence...

- Enzo and Cass cracking cock jokes with the Social Outcasts I found lame, to say the least. You know, it's funny how this is supposed to be the PG ERA and God forbid if anyone uses the word "ass" or "son of a bitch" but then dick jokes are allowed...

- How on earth does Kane get a title match??? As far as I'm concerned, keep Kane in his corporate role, in which he could at least be a lot funnier and entertaining. Oh, and by the way, I don't remember this rule he brought up about a champion having to defend his title at least once every 30 days being applied to other superstars in the past and you dodn't need to think hard in order to come up with a few that went a lot longer without defending...

- Y2J getting double kicked by Sammy and KO was the...highlight of the highlight reel...

- New Day enterance, mocking the Wyatts was hillarious and this was one of the very few bright spots on the show overall. Defintely interested to see where this goes, especially what they're doing with Xavier Woods...
