The only things holding it back was the House of Horror's match (which was at least not the worse thing ever) and perhaps Joe vs Seth could have been a bit better. My predictions were crap, but the PPV was better than expected.

I gave this ppv an 8. Other than the first half of the House of Horrors match and the Rollins/Joe match being a bit of a let down, this was a good all around pay per view. The only really bad part of it was the prerecorded part of the House of Horrors match though.

Pretty much all of the matches were decent. Even the second half of the House of Horrors match was good. I actually probably think Alexa Bliss vs Bayley may have been the match of the night for me. Braun/Roman was good too mostly because I enjoyed seeing Roman get beat down and the crowd chanting "Thank you Strowman." And the funny thing is, that isn't because I hate Reigns. I just REALLY like Strowman and am happy seeing him get a good push like this rather than having them stop his momentum.

So...I basically predicted the complete opposite as far as results go...
apart from Neville and the Hardyz retaining their titles & Bray getting
the win thanks to Jinder.

I'm honestly in shock that they had Alexa win the title...she has been
on RAW for less than a month...and even though she took a record from
my bae Charlotte...I'm happy that "Just" Bayley is no longer the champion.

Seriously...go back and look at Bayley's title run...it was fucking pathetic!

All Hail Little Miss Bliss!

98h42n69ysuy.jpg

I hope Izzy & Bayley are both crying!
Also...I won a nice amount of cash betting on her sweet little booty...

G...I guess Alexa is now only second to Charlotte on the women's roster...

Wow...the WWE must be so high on Alexa right now...

I can see why...loving the Iron Man themed outfit...

Alexa vs. Sasha @Summerslam?

How great is this?

I love Kurt's reaction in that video.. and it's really funny.

I gave Payback a 7/10.. if this had been a part of the show it would have gotten a 9/10

No, that being on wouldn't be a 9/10. It would be a

Loved it. Alexa winning clean (atleast I think she won 100% clean, correct me if I am wrong).

Surprised the crap out of me, I guess I fell for all the hype about being Bayley's hometown. I thought for sure Bayley would squash Bliss being it was her home town. The Raw women's division needed a serious shakedown and Alexa winning the belt will definitely mix it up and freshen Raw up for a few weeks. Bravo in my opinion.

House of Horrors didn't impress me, but I am not that much into Wyatt or Orton.

I though overall it was a great show. I like Reigns being beat, but I don't like the obvious implications that he is injured. They had him pinned, but left him an out to claim he wasn't pinned clean because he was still injured. The whole still injured but too hardcore to delay the match bit.

Strowman beating Reigns clean doesn't need any added credibility. Boo on that.

Yeah...it was 100% clean...I just watched the match again.

Its strange...I know a lot of people expected Charlotte to walk into SmackDown and win
the title straight away and there-by undermine the entire division. Turns out Alexa Bliss
did that very thing to RAW women's division.

I'm so glad Bayley lost the belt...I would rather it have been Heel Sasha...but Alexa will
do just fine.

Once again the hometown hero gets taken down by the booking...the same thing happened
to Sasha in Boston at Hell in a Cell...but this time...I'm glad Bayley lost.

Bayley's entire reign has been fucking garbage anyway. Let me see...
~ Became the number one contender...because of Sasha...
~ Lost to Charlotte clean at the Royal Rumble...
~ Was crushed by Nia on RAW...
~ Then for some reason got another title shot on RAW and won the title uncleanly...because of Sasha...
~ Defended her title and broke Charlotte's pay per view streak uncleanly at Fastlane...because of Sasha...
~ Was forced to tap out by Sasha on RAW in like 7 minutes...therefore giving Sasha a shot at Wrestlemania...
~ Had the shit kicked out of her by Nia on RAW...
~ Had the shit kicked out of her by Nia on RAW again and was pinned therefore giving Nia a shot at Wrestlemania...
~ At Wrestlemania...she only pinned Charlotte to retain after Charlotte eliminated Nia (she did the most work on
the powerbomb...go back and watch it) and Sasha...

Seriously...Bayley sucked as a champion...and I don't just mean from a booking perspective...

Sasha basically carried Bayley through her entire reign...and it was setting up a heel turn...but
I'm happy for Sasha to stay a face and fight Little Miss Bliss for the title.

Honesty...Bayley is nowhere near as over as the WWE wants her to be...and the "Money Feud"
on RAW will be Alexa vs. Sasha...and it will "feel real" because rumor is those 2 can't stand each other.

Bayley needs some kind of change...I don't know what exactly...but she needs to change and improve...
because frankly...since arriving on the main roster...SHE.HAS.SUCKED! (And not in a good way)

Payback was a good show. I didn't expect much going into the PPV, but I was pleasantly surprised in the end. 7/10

- I didn't watch Enzo & Cass vs Gallows & Anderson on the pre-show because I had no interest in that match whatsoever. What I did watch, though, was The MizTV segment with Finn Bálor and it was a solid segment. Finn did well on the mic, Miz was good as usual and this is going to be a nice feud until they decide what to do with Bálor next.

- Chris Jericho vs Kevin Owens was a pretty good show opener. ★★★½
This was just as good as their WrestleMania match. Good storytelling, good crowd and I loved that Y2J's attack on KO's hand played directly into the finish. What I'm not the biggest fan of, though, is the title changing hands. Isn't Y2J supposed to be leaving? It doesn't make much sense to put the title back on Y2J if he's leaving. With that said, I wouldn't be surprised if they switched the title back to KO on SmackDown, followed by a beat down to write Y2J off TV. But, we'll see.

- Neville vs Austin Aries was good. ★★★
I wasn't particulary invested going into the match and not really a fan of the finish, it was predictable, but I understand why they did it. It keeps the feud going and their big blow-off match will most likely have a stipulation at Extreme Rules.

- The Hardy Boyz vs Sheamus & Cesaro was good. ★★★¼
Good, physical and fun match overall. Jeff lost a tooth when Sheamus kicked him in the head and Matt got busted open. :damn: Anyways, this was the best Hardy Boyz match since they came back and both teams put on a good effort. Loved the finish, as well as the post-match beat down with Sheamus and Cesaro turning heel. I knew the heel turn was coming, I even thought they would perhaps turn during the match and actually win the titles, but I'm glad it happened nonetheless.

- Alexa Bliss vs Bayley was good. ★★★
Didn't really care about this match, but they put on a good effort and Bliss winning was a pleasant surprise.

- Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton was the only stinker on the show. I had no interest in this match whatsoever and I ended up skimming through most of it. Seemed really boring. Oh, well. At least the feud is over and both guys will move on to other things.

- Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe was good. ★★★
Good, but somewhat disappointing match. Joe was putting in the work on Rollins' injured knee, but that didn't end up playing into things all that much. At least the finish worked, in terms of protecting Joe and prolonging this feud.

- Braun Strowman vs Roman Reigns was a pretty good ME. ★★★½
Well, color me surprised. Strowman won. Man, this had more heat than anything else on the show and it was fun. The post-match segment when Strowman proceeded to destroy Reigns even more was also fun.

All in all, the show was much better than I expected it to be.

I was not aware of the rumors that Alexa and Sasha don't like each other.

They won't let that go to waste. Might make for interesting interactions.

Well...there only rumors...but word is around the traps is Alexa is big fan of Charlotte, Becky & Bayley...
but can't stand Sasha. Apparently something happened back in NXT...again only rumors.
They won't let that go to waste. Might make for some interesting interactions.
Vince love to emotionally torment his living action figures...so they won't let they won't let opportunity
slip by them. I'll been watching their interactions very closely...and I'm pretty sure there is some tension
there.

Either way...Alexa vs. Sasha FTW!

Given the very low expectations, this PPV turned out to be quite enjoyable and aside a few cringe moments I overall had a good time watching it so, that being said, I’m on board with the 7/10 rating myself.

- The preshow I totally skipped so no comment there (from what I heard and read, didn’t really miss much anyway)

- The finish of the opening match had me kind of scratching my head. To answer Prince Balor’s question above (and I’m pretty sure I have this right), Fozzy start performing this coming Friday so Jericho winning the US belt back was kind of weird. My only guess is that this was WWE’s way of swerving us since pretty much everyone expected KO to retain; not so predictable after all, huh you all smart internet marks? On a serious note though, am I only the one confused as far as KO status is concerned? Is he now back on RAW or what?

- The cruiserweight championship match was alright but I feel it could have been a whole lot better. As far as the somewhat dusty finish, thought it was…meh, then again a decent way to keep the feud going so, sure, why not?

- Tag Team Championship certainly MOTN and, as expected, indeed Sheamus and Cesaro turned heel, thus giving a nice little twist to their story. Don’t know what this means for Revival or Anderson & Gallows, the other two legit heel teams but then again with Revival temporarily knocked out, I guess this works for now. The million dollar question, obviously, is whether they planted the seeds for the Hardy’s broken gimmick. I personally legit don’t even have twitter but I did read what Sheamus tweeted as well as Matt’s response so you know they are teasing it big time, making this more an issue of when rather than if but I feel we may have to wait just a bit longer. I mean, aside from whether they’ve reached an agreement, storyline wise I would think they go broken after they drop the belts, right?

- No surprise at all as far as Alexa Bliss goes, being this was typical WWE booking when it comes to the hometown hero and I’m actually glad they pulled the trigger cause a) Bailey’s run was underwhelming and b) Alexa Bliss is simply all the better in so many levels…

- On a personal note, I’ve officially begun counting days before the new season of House of Cards premieres come end of the month (seriously, I definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn’t watched it) so as far as…houses are concerned, I for one have something to be looking forward to. As for the House of Horrors last night, aside from the lack of any logic in so many ways, it was ok for what it was and I guess the only good out of it is that we are done with Orton and Bray…

- Though typically Roman always wins, WWE made the right call tonight and this I feel pretty much comes to play with my initial prediction recently mentioned in another thread, about them building to a Strowman/Lesnar match for the title, saving the inevitable Reigns/Lesnar face off for next year's Mania. Roman selling the injuries being all taped up was a nice touch and the post match stuff was also pretty cool. Of course, God forbid Roman still had to look strong so...no stretchers please (unless the EMT's are also Roman haters, lol)...

I didn't NOT see the US Title outcome coming.... like whoa... I think KO is still on Smackdown since he was there in the first place (I guess) and damn Jericho's run is STILL going... it's been mad long now

I give Payback an 8/10. But that's mainly for The Hardy's match, their backstage segment with Goldust and R-Truth, Jericho winning, and Strowman beating Roman.

There were a lot of surprises. The show was definitely not predictable. It had a fair amount of good moments. The only let down for me, was the finish of the Neville - Aries match. It was such a cheap finish. But a minor complaint on an otherwise solid show.
