Below are the results of the Payback PPV that took place May 17th, 2015 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Kickoff Results:

> R-Truth def. Stardust

> The Ascension def. Macho Mandow & Axelmania

Main Card Results:

> Sheamus def. Dolph Ziggler in a pretty solid match that went on for about 12-15 minutes.

> The New Day def. Tyson Kidd & Cesaro to retain the tag titles in a 2 out of 3 falls match that had some pretty cool spots and was okay.. TK/Cesaro got the first point, New Day got the next two to win it.

> Bray Wyatt def. Ryback in a decent back and forth match.

> John Cena def. Rusev retains the US Title in a fairly brutal and lengthy "I Quit" match.

> Naomi & Tamina def. The Bella Twins in a standard Divas tag match.. nothing special at all here.

> Neville def. King Barrett via Count Out after a decent back and forth effort.. Barrett returned after the win and attacked Neville from behind, Neville got the last action though with a Red Arrow to close the match.

> Seth Rollins def. Randy Orton, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose in an awesome main event match that was MOTN EASILY, we saw The SHIELD reunite for a brief moment to take out Randy Orton and it was a huge moment.. then Reigns & Dean double teamed Seth Rollins and proceeded to power-bomb Kane onto Seth and the table.

So now that the show is over, how would you rate it? Vote in the poll above.

This is definitely an 8/10. I thoroughly (or almost thoroughly) enjoyed this pay per view.

I liked:

Sheamus vs Ziggler. I really enjoyed Sheamus's huge overreaction to kissing Ziggler's ass... I say overreaction since his mouth was nowhere near Ziggler's ass.

New Day vs Cesaro and Kidd. This was so much better than I actually expected it to be. It was a good, solid match. I did at first forget it was 2 out of 3 falls and thought Kidd and Cesaro had won the belts back.

Bray Wyatt vs Ryback. A solid match, but nothing special. I was hoping for a double turn with Harper and Rowan siding with Ryback, but it was just a regular match.

Cena vs Rusev... this was a brutal, brutal match. It wasn't the most fun to watch, but it was what an I Quit match needed to be.

Neville vs Barrett. Another decent match, but nothing really special.

Main Event: Match of the night. This was great. It was wonderful to see the Shield do their power bomb on Orton. Even though I am a Rollins fan, it was awesome to see Rollins assume the Shield was back together, only to have Dean and Roman kick his ass. I was happy to have Rollins hold onto the belt. I am not the biggest fan of fatal fourways, but this one was great.

I didn't like:

Naomi and Tamina vs the Bellas. I almost fell asleep during this one.

There could have been a couple surprises, but otherwise, this was a solid and quite enjoyable event.

"Ambrose is only in it to take the pin" hah, bitch please.

Seriously though, from the results it seemed like a decent show for it being a show to build the MITB off of.

9/10. "Do these stars have what it takes to finish each other off" - Jerry The King Lawler on Reigns and Ambrose. I skipped the cabbage, missed the (for no reason) Axel Sandow loss, and also NEW DAY!.

It was an excellent PPV. I don't care to review every match, so I'll just state that there wasn't a single one that I found disappointing or that I felt was a chore to sit through (even the Divas tag match managed to entertain me and keep my attention), and I thoroughly enjoyed the show from beginning to end. The main event and the two-out-of-three falls for the Tag Titles were the two best matches of the show. (The showdown between Ambrose and Reigns in the ring and the very short-lived Shield reunion on the outside of it were the definite highlights of the main event.)

Well the majority of the matches not only kept my attention but were thoroughly enjoyable. The only time I really zoned out was during the Diva's match. I actually didn't even catch who won.

Cena vs Rusev was great not just for the match but also trying to figure out how Lana was going to play into it. And the fatal four way had the little reunion that played out so perfectly.

based on the two matches I watched (tag title, ME) 9/10, couldn't ask for anything more.

besides less Kane

and no Leo C he did not wear the generic red trunks to the ring :okay:

Yeah, that sucked. Perhaps he had them underneath the pants, though?

Payback was a good show. 7/10

Positives:
- Sheamus vs DZ was a rock solid match. Sheamus' reaction to kissing DZ's arse was gold. :lol1:
- The New Day vs TK & Cesaro was good. There were a few hilarious botches, but the match was entertaining, nevertheless.
- Wyatt vs Ryback was decent. There wasn't anything particularly bad here, but not anything too memorable either. Although, that senton by Bray off the apron and onto the floor was nice.
- Cena vs Rusev was good and brutal, as well. Hmm, interesting finish to the match...
- Neville vs King Barrett was decent.
- Rollins vs Ambrose vs Orton vs Reigns for the WWE-WHC was a great ME.
The former Shield members gathering around and then doing a Triple Powerbomb on Orton through a table? CALLED IT. And I marked out, too! Also, Rollins thinking The Shield was reuniting, but Ambrose and Reigns being like :nope: was great. This was MOTN, for sure! I enjoyed it!

Negatives:
- The pre-show was quite disappointing.

The 'I don't give a toss' about this segment:
- Gladly skipped the divas match.
