NXT Women’s Championship Match
Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks (c)

Lots of quick cover attempts to start things off. Banks steps on Alexa’s hand and slaps her in the face. She hits the double knees spot in the corner and locks in a straight jacket submission. Bliss fights back with a headscissors out of the corner and sends the champ to the floor. They tease another count-out spot (a reversal of last week), but Bliss throws Sasha back into the ring. She goes to the top rope but is taken down with a single-arm throw and taps to the Bank Statement.

Winner: Sasha Banks

-Backstage interview with Kevin Owens. He tells Finn Balor to “bring the demon” to tonight’s title match.

-Emma tells Bayley “I told you so” about being too nice to everyone, and her personality costing her the title. Bayley says the fans got her where she is, and Emma slaps her across the face and walks out.

-Tyler Breeze cuts a backstage promo about wanting to become the NXT Champion. Hideo Itami shows up and says they’re 1-1 in their rivalry, and challenges him to a three-falls match on next week’s show.

-Another “coming soon” promo for Dana Brooke

-Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy confront Carmella backstage and apologize for their behavior. They give her a gift, which turns out to be a diamond bracelet. Enzo and Big Cass get upset and claim the jewelry is fake.

NXT Championship Match
Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens (c)

No face paint tonight.

The bell rings and Owens takes a walk, playing some mind games. The champ takes control with shoulder blocks and rest holds and yells “where’s the demon now?”, so Balor dropkicks him in the face.

After an ad break, Balor rolls through a sunset flip with a dropkick. Kevin fights back with knife-edge chops and they fight on the apron, with Balor getting dropped over the top rope. The assault continues with right hands, kicks and an elbow drop. He throws on a rest hold and after a few minutes we cut to another commercial.

We come back with Owens stomping away at the challenger. Another chin lock until the crowd tries to build momentum, and Owens throws him to the floor and continues the beatdown. He sets up for the apron powerbomb but gets flipped on his back. Balor throws right hands but is caught with a crucifix sideslam, followed by a senton splash for two.

The next segment is yet again all Kevin Owens. Lots of rest holds. At one point Owens does an Irish whip into the corner so hard you hear something in the ring shift.

After a third break (we’re going on 20 minutes here), Balor begins to fight back. He breaks out of a headlock and hits a dropkick. The Slingblade connects followed by a double under-hook slam for two. The champ bails from the ring and wraps Balor’s knee around the ring post before going to work on it. They roll back into the ring and Owens locks in a half grab after beating down on the knee. Finn barely makes it to the bottom rope. He counters a powerbomb with a double foot stomp; both men down.

Challenger is up first but he gets his legs kicked out. They fight to the top turnbuckle and Balor hits an enzuigiri. He tries for a big superplex, but Owens hooks the leg and drops him with a top rope Fishermen’s buster! Holy **** chant. The champ hits a cannonball splash in the corner and continues to work over the now-obviously-injured knee. He wraps the knee around the bottom rope and does another cannonball. Owens comes up empty on a third attempt and Balor follows with a running dropkick. He heads up for the double foot stomp, connecting, but his knee is too messed up to make the cover. When he finally gets up, Owens hits him with a pop-up powerbomb for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Kevin Owens

The Divas match was okay, but I think Banks looked weak for far too much of that match.
All of the segments were pretty good. Very much looking forward to Breeze Vs Itami 2 out 3 falls match.
Owens Vs Balor was great, a very long match for a normal edition of NXT but it didn't get boring at all.

The fact that there was only two matches made me enjoy the show less, tbh.

8/10 for me, purely because I really enjoyed the ME.

- Sasha Banks vs Alexa Bliss was okay. But, there seemed to be a bit of miscommunication here and there, mainly at the beginning of the match when they were going for all those cover attempts.

- KO's promo was aight.

- Looking forward to next week's 2 out of 3 falls match 'tween Breeze and Itami. Breeze's promo was hilarious. LOL'd at him calling Itami Hideo-us.

- Liked the backstage segment involving Zo/Cass/Carmella/Blake/Murphy.

- Kevin Owens vs Finn Bálor was great, I really enjoyed it!

The Owens promo and the match made this episode worthwhile. Other than that, everything else was bland.

Okay, I tried to do my usual writeup thingie but then realized I wrote 10 lines in all caps in insane markdom about a segment that lasted 15 seconds. :haha:

But shoutout to Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss, where "Bad Alexa" came back again with her incredible athleticism always leading to nothing so she just uses an arsenal of rollups like a 2010 Raw Diva, and Sasha Banks doing her best Pentagon Jr. impression. I loved this match. Period. Reminded me of his match with Super Fly, where Sasha figured out all of Alexa's limited offense and whenever Bliss tried to do some high-flying garbage Sasha just kicked the shit out of her. LOL.

Also I'd love to hear Kevin Owens talk about Windex. This dude can do no wrong.
Then he can just smack the bottle when he turns around because caring about that Windex ain't feeding his family

Personal 10/10 show. LOVED everything

I kinda wanted to read the 10-line markout. At least you could've said which segment it was for
