You know the drill, ladies and gentlemen. Vote above and give your thoughts below!

NXT Results:
- A recap of last Wednesday’s main event, with great production amplifying the heartbreak/rage most of us felt re: the post-match angle

- Mauro Ranallo wished Johnny Gargano the best in his future endeavors, and introduces Nigel McGuinness and Percy Watson. Nigel reveals Andrade “Cien” Almas and Zelina Vega will be addressing us later.

- Velveteen Dream def. Tyler Bate via pinfall following Purple Rainmaker

Commentary plays up Dream’s momentum and Bate’s recent struggles before the bell. Technical work from Tyler at the start, while VD tries to play mind games but largely looks foolish trying to grap with the graps guy. That’s pretty much what we return to after a commercial, but Velveteen’s size and power advantage give him an edge. He catches Bate with back elbow and then focuses his attention on Tyler’s back. He gets a few nearfalls, but his mocking covers make it so none of them are close.

Striking his way back into it, Bate bounces off the ropes for a lariat and a two count. He tries for Tyler Driver ‘97 but gets back body dropped. A big spinebuster from Dream leads to a cover from him, but he’s too winded to hook the leg. Exhausted, both men lay into one another. They seem to knock heads on an Irish Whip counter. Back on their feet, Bate tries to superplex Dream. He gets crotched and falls to the mat, and VD hits him with his finisher.

- Paul Ellering yells down a dark stairwell. In the last Dusty Classic, Authors of Pain made their mark. This one is their path back to the titles and Undisputed ERA. AoP lean over the rails and yell in their native languages. Rezar vows to mayhem; Akam says “War is our peace”.

- The footage of Johnny Gargano signing his termination papers is shown.

- Adam Cole def. Cezar Bononi via pinfall following a shining wizard knee to the back of the head

The tag champs accompany Cole to the ring. Right after the bell, the Panama City Playboy asks for a mic. He asks if the crowd knows who he’s in the ring with, and asks for a round of applause for the 2017 NXT Future Star of the Year. He says Bononi belongs in Undisputed ERA, and offers him a shirt. While Cezar looks at it thoughtfully, Cole attacks.

When Cole celebrates, he gets decked by Bononi. He clears Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly off the apron, and powerbombs Cole. The big Brazilian yells at the ERA, then he turns into a superkick. That’s it. Cezar takes a few boots from the champs in the aftermath.

- Video package on Kairi Sane, her history with Shayna Baszler and the Queen of Spades reign of terror

- Street Talk features The Profits interviewing people about who will win The Dusty Classic and everyone picks Street Profits (but it’s actually just Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins pretending to be other people)

- Mauro runs down the tournament bracket, and we learn AoP vs. TM61 is next week

- Shayna Baszler def. Kairi Sane via submission with a Kirifuda Clutch

Shayna face washes Sane to start, trying to intimidate, but Kairi fires back with an elbow. Baszler tries to overpower her, but eats a spear. She does manage to put the Pirate Princess down, and is starting to inflict punishment when we go to commercial. Shayna is working the arm when we get back. High knee in the corner, a suplex and kick to the back gets two.

Kairi gets two on a roll-up, and finally gets the advantage when she dodges another high knee. Another spear puts both women down. Sane connects with a series of elbows for two, and then flattens her with a spinning back fist. She goes up top, but Baszler recovers and knocks her down. Delayed vertical suplex gets dropped right into the rear naked choke, and Kairi has to tap.

- Baszler marches to the announce table, upset that Ember Moon called her a coward. She calls the champ out, and says she’ll either leave their rematch with the title, or a limb.

- The champ and his business associate are out to boos. Zelina Vega introduces Andrade “Cien” Almas as the greatest champion in NXT history, or as she likes to call him, Mr. 4 - 0. Everyone thought Johnny Gargano was going to win, even Johnny thought he would win - that’s why he brought his family. But he lost... four times! A clean sweep! Gargano earned their respect, while Almas earns money and fame. Unlike most women, she doesn’t feed off her man’s success, she created it!

Almas gets the mic and says many of the same things (in pretty bad English). The duo make their way out to the champ’s music, but he’s interrupted by Aleister Black! Black makes his way to the ring, and stares at the champ. As he lifts the mic to his lips, Killian Dain’s music plays! The Beast of Belfast makes his way to the ring, and screams “YOU’RE IN MY PATH” at Aleister.

They brawl while Almas and Vega look on in shock. Those two decide to leave as Dain ducks under a spinning back kick and flattens Black with a crossbody. The SAnitY member stands tall as the show ends.

I unfortunately missed my chance to watch NXT this week...

:disapprove:

So I won't get a chance to watch this episode until this time
next week. I'm pretty pissed off about it because this sounds
like another great show.

I honestly thought they might save Dream vs. Bate for the
next TakeOver...but perhaps we'll get to see Dream vs. Dunne?

I will comment more once I finally get to see it.

It was a decent show with nothing bad on it. 6/10

Dream vs Bate was good as well as the Black/Dain encounter.

Okay...well I'm a week late...but NXT is worth my time...So lets go!

~ We open with a great recap of the Almas vs. Gargano Mk.4...

~ And we open with Velveteen Dream vs. Tyler Bate...
+ I'm a big fan of both these guys so I'm super keen for this match...
+ Wow...Velveteen is keeping up with Bate...I'm impressed...
+ I like how Nasty Velveteen can get...
+ And the Dream gets the win...& this is the best I've ever seen him.

Also...why is Tyler Bate losing every match as of late? perhaps those
rumors of backstage heat were true?

~ An Authors of Pain stairwell promo...shot, sharp & to the point...

~ William Regal is better than Daniel Bryan & Kurt Angle combined...
A true class act & a perfect GM.

Speaking of Bryan...he's going to sign Gargano to SmackDown right
after Wrestlemania isn't he?

~ Next we have Adam Cole (No...I'm not saying it) vs. Cezar Bononi...
& perhaps Cole will finally impress me...
+ And Cole is talking instead of wrestling...Ugh...
+ And wow...that may have been a squash match.

And Adam Cole still has not impressed me. I'm beginning to think he's
simply a stupid catchphrase.

~ Street Profits promo...it was okay I guess...I have no real opinion...

~ Oh Boy! Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler! This should be fun!...& for the
record I never watched the Mae Young Classic...as keen as I was for it.
+ I'm still not sure about Sane's theme music...it just seems off to me...
+ Why is she a pirate?
+ An here comes Shayna "I don't a fuck what you think" Baszler...& she's
seriously one of my favorite performers at this point in time.
+ So has anyone else noticed that Baszler appears works a little bit stiff?
I mean it looks a stiff to me...
+ I will admit Baszler still looks awkward running the ropes...she at her
best when she's standing still...
+ The more Kairi scream the more I like her...
+ The Super, Sexy Spear by Sane!
+ Can someone tell me why she does that strange, stomping walk?
+ And Baszler gets the win...Put the NXT women's title on her Hunter!

~ And we end the show with a promo...Ugh...I don't like when they do
this...even in NXT...still Zelina Vega is an amazing woman...she's like
a Latin version of Alexa Bliss I don't hate.
+ Does anyone else get totally fired up when they hear Aleister Black's
music? Seriously...his theme song is perfect...
+ And Killian Dain is here...& this show is Awesome!

All in All...another great NXT show with 2 great matches & the promise
of more great action next week.

I know I'm a week late...but I still made it!

Seriously...why aren't more members here watching NXT?
