Roman Reigns vs Rusev in a Hell in a Cell match for the United States Championship

Roman Reigns pinned Rusev to retain the United States Championship

Dana Brooke vs Bayley

Bayley pinned Dane Brooke following a Bayley to Belly

Enzo and Cass vs Gallows and Anderson

Gallows and Anderson won after hitting a magic killer on Enzo.

Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens for the Universal Championship in a Hell in a Cell Match

Kevin Owens retained the Universal Championship via pinfall on Seth Rollins. Early in the match, Chris Jericho got into the cell and the match was basically a handicap match from then on.

TJ Perkins vs Brian Kendrick for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Brian Kendrick forced Perkins to tap out to the Captain's Hook, making Kendrick the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion

Sheamus and Cesaro vs the New Day for the Raw Tag Team Championship.

Cesaro and Sheamus won the match by disqualification. Even though Cesaro had Woods in the Sharpshooter and Woods tapped out, Sheamus was holding the trombone outside the ring. Kofi hit Sheamus with Trouble in Paradise, causing it to seem to the referee that Kofi hit with the trombone.

Sasha Banks vs Charlotte for the Raw Woman's Championship in a Hell in a Cell Match

Charlotte defeated Sasha Banks by pinfall after hitting Natural Selection to become a three time Woman's Champion. Before the match, Charlotte power bombed Sasha through the announce table and she was being wheeled out of the arena. However, Sasha came back into the ring and started the match.

Really solid show overall, no matches that I felt were below average or were disappointing to me but also no matches that will go down as classic.

The women's Hell In A Cell match wasn't amazing and there were several awkward spots that just didn't go over well at all. I'm also so jaded over this Eddie Guerrero tribute shit and the game of hot potato with the title. I still thought it was good but not the classic they wanted.

Can't rate the show because I started late but I only want to talk about the main event anyway. I thought it was an alright match not without its botches ( I AM THE TABLE). I did appreciate the selling/psychology but it was sloppy. The wrong person won here, Charlotte/Sasha playing hot potato with the belt needs to fucking stop. Nowhere near a five start classic but honestly it didn't need to be and given the circumstances of the match knowing that they were probably heavily restricted in what they could do, I think they did a serviceable job.

I gave it a 6/10.

The main event was a mess. The beginning and ending were just awful. I guess you could give them a pass cuz they are "girls" but can u imagine if Rusev vs Roman looked like that? I salute them for trying but the match came up short. I don't think women will headline a PPV again for awhile. I support the decision for Charlotte to go over because she is the superior female wrestler in the company but playing hot potato with the women's title really doesn't help with the prestige of the belt. Makes Sasha looks super weak. Hopefully this feud ends for awhile, these rematches need to stop.

The rest of the PPV was ok, nothing special. Rollins powerbomb to KO on the tables was definitely the highlight of the night

7/10 for me, the highlight was the KO powerbomb, the table failed to break twice in the girls match I think and you could see them calling it at one point and the start was crap.

The Rusev/Reigns match was not to bad I thought it was one of the better ones of the night. Outside the HiAC matches though the rest of the card was fairly insipid/predictable.

I was surprised Charlotte won, as mentioned hot potato with the belt, New Day retained via DQ (boring). Jericho interfering no surprise but it ruined the match IMHO as KO is a weak champion IMHO.

Better than Clash (not by much) but I think Smackdown is crushing them in quality as No Mercy and Backlash were better IMHO as they had some stand out matches.

MAtch of the night screw it Rusev and Reigns. Clean win, a decent amount of intensity and no stupid shit like the start of the womens match or Jericho.

I ended up giving it a 7. I think it was a solid show.

Personally, I think the main event was pretty good. I was happy to see a bit of violence in a woman's match. I have no issue with Charlotte being the champion again. Hell, after that entrance, she probably deserves it. They did a lot more in that match than I expected them to do. I think the VERY long tease that Sasha's back was hurt was a bit too much. It dragged down the beginning of the match but didn't detract from the match as a whole.

I liked:

Brian Kendrick vs TJ Perkins. I am happy as hell Kendrick is champion. It wasn't a long match, but the ending made it for me. I also love the classic heel tactic by Kendrick at the end. ***

Sheamus and Cesaro vs the New Day. *** I actually liked this match. I think the ending was crap, but the match itself was good.

Kevin Owens vs Seth Rollins **** This was phenomenal and probably match of the night. Jericho was soooo on during this match. There were some good spots in it. Rollins looked very strong fighting two people. But Jericho proved how no one currently can outdo him in the heel department.

Sasha Banks vs Charlotte **** I am also giving this four stars but the Universal title match edged it out as the match of the night for me, mostly because they dragged out the beginning too long. Sasha constantly holding her back also detracted from the match. But I enjoyed it a lot.

The rest was either meh or bad. But these matches really held it together for me. Very enjoyable ppv.

Okay...so I gave it a 10 simply because of Charlotte regaining the Women's Championship...
But I have some more thoughts.

~ Nice work by WWE for putting the Rusev/Reigns match first...shame Rusev didn't get the win...
~ I'm so glad Bayley had a win...but it was a win against Dana Brooke...so...No big achievement...
~ WWE...where is Emma? Seriously?
~ Good to see Gallows & Anderson get a win...
~ Sad to see Enzo & Cass get beat...
~ I'm sick of Chris Jericho...let Kevin Owens stand on his own for God's Sake!
~ Hello...Triple H...are you there?
~ Okay...so I would never have picked Kendrick winning the title...
~ Can Cesaro have a shot at Owens or Reigns now? Please...
~ And now...the main event...

Positives:
1). Well Done WWE in giving the ladies the main event...
2). Nice entrances by both ladies...although Charlotte's robe looked uneven when she stood up...
and both ladies have never looked better.
3). Congratulations to both ladies for stepping foot in the Cell and putting on a good match with some great spots...Sasha's Spider-woman double knee off the cell wall and Charlotte's sidewalk slam on the chair really sticking in my mind.

Negatives:
1). I didn't mind the early drama after the table spot...but it went on for a little too long...
2). Those f*cking tables...one broke too easily...the other not at all...WTF?!
3). The finish was scrappy as hell (pun intended)

Now...I know this is going to sound strange coming from me, the biggest Charlotte fanboy on
this forum (I think?) but Sasha really should have won the match...or if was going to loose...
couldn't she have gone down in a more epic way...like passing out in the figure 8...or trying
to put Charlotte through a table with a frog splash and Charlotte moves at the last second?
Just anything would have been better than that simple natural selection finish.

Now the real question is...what next? Sasha will no doubt get a rematch...but after a Cell
match...what could they really do?

A Ladder Match?

I was kind of hoping the SmackDown ladies would get to that...Becky vs. Alexa in the
first ever women's ladder match is what I want.

Well one table did not break very well and at the end Sasha bounced off the table. I expected Sasha to win as well but it was probably the best match. The KO one was ruined had a couple of spots but meh I preferred the Rusev one. I liked the preshow fight as well. IN the KO match you also got a good close up of one of the broken tables. It was painted wood and you could see the "metal" break revealing wood. Only the legs with the shiny paint and the fold out things are metal.

I picked most of the wins but was slightly wrong with New Day. I expected them to retain the titles. I thought Kendrick would win because TJ is not that good on the mic.

I think the right person won every event though at least one I could live with (I wanted Rusev to win but knew Reigns would).

Charlotte had a great entrance as well it was theatrical but she pulled it off. Flairs name got her in the door but she is believable as a champ and heel IMHO. I thought Sasha would win, home town girl, hot potato the champ belts etc.

I didn't stay up to watch, I skipped to the main event this morning.

The match was pretty good, with the exception of the ending. It was just abrupt, but I enjoyed a lot of the match itself.

After a long time I actually sat down and watched the entire PPV.

Just dotting down what I feel was worth mentioning.

Kendrick, that man is awesome and I am really happy that he got the belt! Hopefully he can use his mic skills and make the division have more story than random tag matches.

The Cesaro - Sheamus match. The ending was so unbelievably boring but the match itself was good.

The Universal Title Match - Jericho was always gonna interfere, I kinda liked the way they played it and I am happy with the result. Makes both competitors look strong. But Jericho was the highlight for me, he was awesome.

Rusev in his match, hate that Roman won (hardly a surprise) but that match was alright. I'm surprised we didn't see Lana yell at roman from outside the cell and what not.

The main event, the match itself was really good. The start was great and Charlotte is definitely my favourite female wrestler now, really glad she won the belt. But god that long drawn out bit with Sasha and the stretcher, it was just... ugh. cringeworthy is a good word for it I guess, they really overplayed it. even DB during WM30 wasnt so bad, this was just boring with her slowly crawling the entire way around the ring. The finish of the match could have been better.

The rest was meh.

6/10.. most of the matches were just okay, Rollins/Owens and Sasha/Charlotte were the best matches of the night, even with all the botches in the women's match.

Enjoyable but very predictable show.

I didn't watch but I knew Charlotte would win. They aren't going to have her lose at a PPV just yet.

That sucks they had some bad spots but I could imagine it was because of the pressure put on the match. Like I bet if it wasn't the main event, it would be rated higher by a lot of people. The ME naturally has a stigma to it to be the BEST of the night and if it isn't, people will say it was average or worse. Either way, I am sure I will watch a recap for the PPV. I assumed the PPV itself would get a 6 or 7 from most people and I was about right.
