I gave it 7/10. I am not sure I was entertained constantly but the results of the matches pretty much helped.

I liked:

The woman's six pack challenge. Pretty happy Becky won but I was almost rooting for Naomi after that strong start. ***

Miz vs Ziggler. Good match and glad Ziggler didn't win. I'm not a Miz fan really, but I'd rather him stay champion that drop the belt to someone who is going to do nothing with it. ***

Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton *** As a Ric Flair fan, this was the way to win a match.

Heath and Rhyno vs the Usos *** I enjoyed this match.. not sure if it deserved three stars but Heath getting the win helped raise its score for me.

AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose ***1/2 Not the great match I was expecting, but AJ Styles is now only the third man in history to hold both the NWA and WWE World Heavyweight Championships. He is the ONLY man in history to hold the NWA, TNA, IWGP and WWE Championships. Very happy.

I didn't like:

Usos vs the Hype Bros. ** Boring

Bray vs Kane ** Also boring. It is sad that this year so many wrestlers have taken no DQ matches and made them boring...

Smackdown really did a good job on delivering what the fans wanted for their new champions (Aj, Becky, and Slater/Rhyno) and I thought it was a very smart and good decision to keep the IC title on the Miz.

The matches were kind of boring. It felt just like a average run of the mill episode of Smackdown besides the opening Divas match and the Main Event were pretty decent.

But the rest of the card wasnt all that great and it really showed that Smackdown can't handle a full 3 hour PPV special (it ended 20-25 minutes early too)

It wasn't as good as I was hoping. I mean I didn't mind it, but I think watching ufc the night before really affected how I watched this. Probably the biggest mistake I've made in a while tbh lol. I hadn't watched ufc in years, and now that I did again.... it really affected my viewing of this ppv. Which is too bad because I've been so into wwe for the past year. Definitely not making that mistake again until after survivor series haha. Need to keep my head in this game to fully enjoy the live experience again.

That being said, I'm glad becky won the women's title. So glad slater/rhyno won the tag belts (I wouldn't have been mad at an usos win either though. I like their plain, heel outfits and attitude) and kinda happy that AJ won, but had to see that one coming tbh. Unfortunately I had to turn it off last night and put the baby to bed and get some sleep myself so when I woke up this morning the tag and world titles outcomes were spoiled for me.

*On a side note: I just can NOT get enough of this stage set. Absolutely love it! There's just something about the look that captivates me. Same with RAW but this SD set is just incredible. But now that we've seen they will keep their regular sets for their own ppv, I wonder what the combined ppv sets will look like now, most notably survivor series. Think they'll keep the RAW stage for it?

Backlash was good. 7/10

- Becky Lynch vs Carmella vs Nikki Bella vs Natalya vs Naomi vs Alexa Bliss was a good opener. ***
It was a bit clunky in places, but overall it was a good showing by all ladies with the right outcome. Becky finally won the big one. I'm really happy for her.

- The Usos vs The Hype Bros was solid. **½
I'm diggin' heel Usos. It's what they desperately needed to refresh themselves. Also glad the paint has been dropped and they're pretty much in all black now. The Usos winning here was the right outcome. Loved the finish, too.

- The Miz vs Dolph Ziggler was very good. ***¾
OMG, this match was SO much better than I was expecting it to be. The Miz iz awesome! This had to be my favorite Miz match ever.

- Kane vs Bray Wyatt was decent for what it was. **
The Running Senton onto the announce table was cool and all. But, other things happened, too? Who cares?

- Beauty & The Man-Beast vs The Usos was good. ***
What a feel-good moment for Slater, man!

- AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose was not great, but it was a pretty good ME. ***½
HOLY SHIT, AJ STYLES IS WWE WORLD CHAMPION!

Styles was simply phenomenal, he pulled out the best in Ambrose and proved why he's the best wrestler in the world. Extremely happy for him.

Good PPV following up on SummerSlam for sure. It wasn't a Tokyo Dome special, but then again, it didn't need to be. It was good for what it was, all matches had something and most of them were top quality. 8/10

Damn... Just damn

Becky is the SD women's champ (thank god I thought WWE would blow it)

Miz is becoming extremely credible

Heath Slater is now over with the help of Rhyno

And AJ makes history

Kutoos to Wyatt and Kane for doing their best to make up for Ortons injury, but the wrong man won.

Under the circumstances, I guess this PPV was as good as it could be and I feel a 6/10 is just about right for a rating.

For the most part the right person won so it's hard to really have any complaints as far as the results are concerned however I personally did have an issue with Kane going over against Bray Wyatt. There is no denial that Kane has been one of the greatest characters of all time but that was a long time ago and at this point, HE is the one that should be putting people over, not the other way around. As if it isn't enough that they practically have had Bray being all talk with nothing to show for, constantly losing almost every important match he's be involved in, now he fucking jobs to Kane? Seriously people?

Elsewhere, there were a few minor things I would have changed but no big deal really. For example, I'd have Miz win entirely clean rather then what happened in the end and I also did not like Niki Bella being eliminated with a lousy roll up but I guess that would be me nitpicking....

8/10. I enjoyed it immensly. Not a bad match on the card. I can live with Bray losing even tho he keeps being a geek.

Miz was fucking awesome. The roll he's on man.
