Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin vs. Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs​

Rhodes and Allin defeated Team Taz

Team Taz beat up the other and Dustin Rhodes and Arn Anderson. Sting came out to save them. Sting is signed to AEW,.

AEW World Championship Match: Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega​

Omega won and is the new AEW World Champion

Might as well give it a ten/ten.

I feel as though everything for this show did what a weekly show should and that was set up storylines and have moments that make you want to watch the next week.

The opening Battle Royale set up a match next week. It showed storyline advancement for most people, from Dark Order helping Adam Page out, Miro going on a tear and attacking Orange, the tension in the Inner Circle (which was done further later on), and a few small things.

Jericho vs Frankie was alright considering the fact Jericho is not the same as he was a few years ago and it advanced everything.

Brit vs Layla was a good TV match, and the Thunder Rosa stuff continued with her.

FUCKING STING (after a good tag match)

Then the main event may not have been the best of either man's career but still was a great main event, told the story of Kenny getting more and more desperate with flashes fo what I'd see either of them do in Japan. Then shock of Kenny Omega winning with the help of Don Callis then them running off to Impact, just bruh. If I have time next week with exams I for sure need to check out Dynamite and possibly Impact as well.

Oh my, Beavie is shaken.

Since I've been here I've never voted a show 10/10 until now. Tonight could have easily been 3 hours. They did a lot of story with a minimal amount of matches. All the matches were solid. Sting showing up tonight was crazy as hell. Then the main event exceeded my expectations. "Good shit"

One of the best weekly wrestling shows of the year, easily. The surprise appearance of Sting, Orange Cassidy and MJF winning the battle Royale, getting to see the old man Arn Anderson be the enforcer and a new AEW World Champion.

There was nothing about this show I didn't enjoy. The main event, a solid ****1/2.

i planned on making a thread, about me watching AEW for the first time in ages, i figured it would be a neat comparison. And the episode i watched was last weeks episode and not this week LOL! if i had waited a week i would have came back at the perfect time.

Damn shame on my timing, damn shame.

It was a fantastic episode. Everything was great, only two things were some of the things were pretty obvious at certain points like Orange and Omega's moments of victory and wasn't feeling the Jericho/Kaz match, but did understand it's building up for the Inner Circle. Other than those small things everything was very enjoyable.

I really hope Orange gets some growth and opportunity. He could be a solid popular face. He won't ever be huge like the Rock or anything, But I think he could at least be like maybe Mick Foley level popular.

And no, it's not just because he is cute. I really love his character. I like the lazy things he does. With Orange, sometimes he is a bigger opponent for himself than the guy is fighting. It's just so unique.
