In the last two days, Rashad Evans went from slight favorite to heavy underdog to heavy favorite. Bookmaker was quick on the draw last night, opening Evans as a 3-1 underdog against Lyoto Machida. That fight fell through, and Bookmaker was quick to hang a new line when Dana White announced Tito Ortiz would step in for an injured Phil Davis:

Rashad Evans -450
Tito Ortiz +300

The first fight between Evans and Ortiz at UFC 73 closed at -110 Ortiz/+125 Evans. (These were the best available lines available over a variety of sites. Some sites had the fight as a pick'em.)

When they first met, Ortiz, at 32, was still exiting his prime. For Evans, Tito represented his first big step up in competition. The fight ended as a competitive draw, but it was a second-round point deduction for grabbing the fence that cost Ortiz the victory.

Ortiz lost three straight fights following UFC 73 before breaking his losing streak with a dramatic first-round submission over Ryan Bader at UFC 132. Evans compiled a 5-1 record, including winning the UFC light heavyweight title from Forrest Griffin at UFC 92.
