Raphael Assuncao has a new opponent for his bantamweight debut at UFC 134 in Rio, after a proposed bout with Darren Uyenoyama fell through due to Uyenoyama's contract dispute with Shooto.

Assuncao will now face veteran Brazilian fighter and Nova Uniao team member, Johnny Eduardo (25-8), who's on an 11-fight winning streak, and has a career spanning over 15 years. The booking was announced by the UFC's Brazilian office on Twitter tonight.
