Makes sense for Kip and as a taped appearance its about the realistic level i was expecting. Whelmimg is about right yeh, match prob was good i have to assume. Doubt he sticks around, albeit ROH obviously would be a fine pick if and when it launches.

Like don’t get me wrong…Trent Seven is great, but I think he’s meh as a surprise opponent.

Yeah but tbh it was a "same night" surprise on a title that has been defended n the uk with kip in attendance who is also British. Was not at all advertised outside the promo last night so i think ppl have crazy expectations and maybe don't take the context into consideration. Furthermore, it was never going to be someome "better" than Kip and it being Miro, while a fun thought, would make little story sense . For how it was presented I feel its an appropriate choice n consistant with indie one offs on rampage. Had it been hyped for a week id feel much different.

• Hikaru Shida defeated The Bunny to retain the Regina di Wave title. After the match, Jamie Hayter appeared and stared down Shida.
• Lee Moriarty and W. Morrisey defeated two local competitors. Morrisey won the match with a chokeslam.
• Orange Cassidy defeated Trent Seven to retain the AEW All-Atlantic Championship. During the match, The Butcher, The Blade, and The Bunny came out and brawled with Best Friends, who were at ringside. Cassidy hit Seven with the Beach Break for the win. After the match Sabian, Penelope Ford, and Seven attacked Cassidy. Dustin Rhodes came out to make the save.

at least she getting some time. same with Kylynn. but with no seeming plan to ever get the belt off of Kamille they gonna hit their ceiling quick there. hopefully TK gives them both a shot as I thought both were standouts during the Pandemic Jacksonville Era

I feel like if you are going to do Seven vs OC which is a fine match, don't have it be surprise. Yeah MIRO makes 0 story sense but you are opening it up for people to WILDLY speculate
