Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 is a good game if you like realistic tactical warfare. Thing is you may have to get (buy or rent) the first Vegas to understand the story as a whole.

Also, Veags 2 isn't that much of a leap forward from the first title so if you plan on getting it, you want to trade some games in at an EBGames/Gamestop store to get it cheaper, rent it, or just wait for the price to go down after a few months then buy it.

I just rented it and I've never played a game like that (not FPS, but controlling a team) and so far it's confusing. I can't get my team to engage the enemy (It says to press select/back, but all they do is hold up their guns and won't shoot) and I get 3 or 4 guys shooting at me at once and I die A LOT. It's getting frustrating.

You team, Chuck, has two settings by pushing the Back button :Infiltrate and Assault.

Inflitrate: Your team will move through an area using silenced weaponry and stealth. They'll spend more time spotting enemies and quietly calling out positions to you. They'll only fire upon enemies if you and/or they come under fire.

Assault: Your team will use the weapon they currently have to do more damage. Less time is spent calling out the enemy and they will shoot first on sight. The team will continue to fire until the enemies in their line of sight are down, they switch positions, or you switch them into Inflitration mode.

There should by an on-screen indicator telling you which mode the team is currently in.

Ahh! OK, that makes plenty of sense.
