The only show I've seen so far is ROH Respect is earned which was amazing, just wanted to ask a few questions about the promotion

1-Does ROH ever have any Gimmick/no DQ matches?

2-When is the next ROH PPV?

3-When does ROH make new shows and where can I watch them?

4-your opinions on the promotion

thanks

1) Yes... They have Four Corner Survival, Cage-Matches among others... They rarely do ladder matches, though. Then there's the Fight Without Honor which is basically a no-rules match... There's some more gimmick matches, but these are the ones that are used the most.

2)Like Viva la Luje said, its been taped already and I beleive it airs in September.

3) ROH usually hold two shows a month, the only place that gets ROH on TV is Canada on the Fight Network, otherwise you have order the DVD's from the ROH site or get through... nefarious means, via the Internet.

4... My opinions on ROH. Ring of Honor is a throwback to the days where the Wrestling business was about wrestling. They have storylines and great characters, but the wrestling is the focal point of the product. It offers a mix of MMA-like fights, high-flying and technical wrestling unlike anything we see in WWE or in TNA.

In short, ROH will make you remember why it was you fell in love with wrestling in the first place.

1. Yes, Delirious is a great example of this and even the recently departed Colt Cabana.

2. It has already been taped, it got taped on June the 23rd i believe.

3. I Believe there shows air in Canada on the Fight Network And in Great Britain aswell.

4. Without a dought the Number 1 wrestling promotion out there, if you go through a list of about the top 10 MOTY candidates so far i gurantee 7 of them will be ROH bare minimum.

ROH has a thing called the Code of Honor:

1. Shake hands before and after the match -- if you respect your opponent.
2. Keep the playing field level.
3. Respect the officials.

I'm not sure when their PPV is, either they just had one or their is one coming soon. ROH as far as I know doesn't appear on TV (I could be wrong). I just read their results online orf download matches online. Personally I love ROH they have some of the best and underated and overlooked wrestlers in the business.

1.There are gimmick matches, but they're usually used in a bog match scenario (the last match of a long feud). They have Steel Cage matches, Fights without Honot (No rules at all) among others.

2.Like Viva La Luke said, its already been taped and I beleive it airs in September.

3.Unless you're in Canada or in the UK, you'll have to order the DVD's on the ROH site if you want to see their shows... Or you can get them through "nefarious means" via the Internet.

4. I'll keep this short... ROH will remind why you became a wrestling fan in the first place. Words cannot describe Ring Of Honor, and its best to just sit down and watch some of the matches.

Fight Without Honor (No DQ)
Pure Wrestling Matches (20 sec count out, wrestlers are allowed 3 rope breaks, no closed fist)
Ultimate Endurance (Falls count anywhere)
Scramble Cage Match (teams are allowed outside and inside the cage)
Dragon Gate Rules (No tags needed, teammate enters when partner leaves the ring)

This is just a few, but for the most part ROH is a traditional company and focuses on traditional wrestling.

Heres a show from about 3 months ago. (Soulpower uploaded it) My first taste of ROH live. The show was nuts. This show features a cage match, a Dragon Gate rules match, and there a pretty big brawl in the crowd for one match. Fun show, with good promos and a few twist. In fact the pictures in my sig were taken from that actual show. (montana fun fact)

Card:
-ROH World Tag Team Champion Jay Briscoe & Delirious (subbing for Mark) vs Matt Sydal & Christopher Daniels
-Claudio Castagnoli vs YAMATO Onodera
-Erick Stevens vs Mitch Franklin
-Nigel McGuiness vs Chris Hero w/Sweet N Sour Larry Sweeney & Survivors Johnny Fairplay
-Muscle Outlaw'z (Jack Evans & Naruki Doi) vs The No Remorse Corps (Davey Richards & Rocky Romero)
-Brent Albright vs Homicide
-Colt Cabana & Homicide vs Brent Albright & Adam Pearce
-Steel Cage Showdown : Jimmy Jacobs vs BJ Whitmer
-FIP World Heavyweight Championship : Roderick Strong (c) vs Austin Aries
-CIMA, SHINGO & Susumu Yokosuka vs Ryo Saito, Dragon Kid & Maasaki Mochizuki

That show RULED Montana!! Wish i could have been there, though had to work that night....gotta pay that rent.

The best way to get ROH shows is order the dvd's from their site. They're definitly worth the cost. They're usually released about 2 months after the show. If you really can't afford it though, they can be found around the i-net by "nefarious means" as someone else already posted. Most of it's on private trackers though.

Jacobs also tore his ACL as well as losing a couple of teeth. I believe Whitmer also suffered a concussion.
