[Question] Stars...?

Not sure if this is an error or if it has a meaning which is why I decided to make a thread as I want to find out. At first I thought it was for buddy's but now random people not on my buddy list has stars next to them so does anyone know what it could mean or is it an error on my side?

EDIT: Thanks to Seabs, it is a legend feature. Removed the image so nobody knows who is online but appearing offline.

It's inconsiderate to let upgraded people see who is hiding their online status. It's an invasion of privacy! If they want to be hidden they should have the right to!

Yeah, that's why the star is there. When you upgrade you can see them, which a star will show when they appear offline to the non upgraded members.
