The parents of Chinese quadruplets were so concerned teachers would not be able to tell them apart they have shaved numbers into their heads.

The identical six-year-olds from Shenzhen look so much alike that their mother and father are often unable to pick them apart, prompting the unusual solution.

"My sons are identical, even to me," mother Tan Chaoyun said.

"Even now, their father can't tell which one is which.

"Sometimes, he punishes the second one for something the third one has done."

Before the boys started school, their mother took them to a barber shop to have the crew cuts, leaving the numerals 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the centre of their scalps.

Chinese news website Now News reported the boy's teachers are pleased with the result.

its funny, but it is sad as hell at the same time. A friend of mine had twins that were completely identical, and she could easily tell the difference between both boys. As a mother or a father, it should just come as a natural instinct.

ON Harry Potter, the Weasley brothers were identical, but their mother played it off as if she couldnt tell the different to make their family known to the film...

I would never put numbers as a hair style on my kids though...

It's a movie.

Anyway I guess with 4 identical kids, it's the only solution

They could Sixth Day it and tattoo the numbers behind their ears. Or was that Multiplicity? Who cares.

Not going to lie, I laughed a bit at this  but the parents not being able to tell is quite sad a bit, I mean you should some how be able to figure out who is who if it's your own kid.
