When The Undertaker retires from the ring, do you see him given a very prominent position within the WWE as recognition for his many loyal years of service? After all, he is very much respected by his fellow wrestlers and the entire wrestling community.
Undertaker is one of the performers who will always be able to write his own ticket within WWE politically. He's well respected and long-tenured. If he wants a job in creative or in another backstage position, I would think the company would be happy to have him if he's interesting once he finally steps out of the ring for the final time.
The reports of Vince McMahon’s “disappointment†at the lack of crowd reaction to Snitsky two weeks ago at RAW raises this question: Doesn’t the Chairman watch the show backstage as it airs? Snitsky hasn’t gotten a reaction from the fans since he returned from ECW a while back. In fact, the arena gets so quiet when he comes out that you could hear a pin drop! How Vince could possibly be surprised by this, when it’s happened EVERY SINGLE TIME Snitsky comes out, is really hard to believe.
He was surprised because the company has been building Snitsky as a top monster, so the expectation was that the audience would buy him as a threat for John Cena. Obviously, that didn't happen.
I am a Huge wrestling fan. A huge Taker and Kane fan!! Many of my friends say that Glen Jacob's is not the one and only Kane.. that another man was Kane at one time. My question is has Glen ALWAYS been Kane or was there another man back in the day that IS THE REAL KANE? Cause I have a dvd of Taker and they show the masked Kane talking and all, and I have wondered myself from time to time, If Glen has always been the one and only Kane?
Glen Jacobs has always portrayed the Kane character in all of its forms.
Is there any word on when tickets will start going on sale for the 2007 Royal Rumble at MSG? And is there any word on a pre-sale?
According to sources within the company, WWE will likely announce the on-sale date details for the 2008 Royal Rumble after the 10/30 WWE Smackdown taping at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York.
Who in your opinon has been the worst "world heavyweight" champion? I'm sure the easier answer is the Great Khali, but what about those like Tommy Rich, Ronnie Garvin, The Iron Shiek, Kerry Von Erich, Ricky Steamboat and others who held a version of the world heavyweight title for a short amount of time or like Steamboat were better chasing for the championship than holding it?
First off, I am throwing out the easy answers of Vince Russo and David Arquette. In many of the names you mentioned, they were simply designed to be short-term title holders. Steamboat had a great legacy for in-ring wrestling during his 1989 title reign, so you couldn't consider him the worst by any stretch of the imagination. To me of the names you list, I guess you could say Ronnie Garvin, who hardly defended the NWA title and then lost it right back to Ric Flair, although both of the Flair-Garvin bouts were extremely entertaining. I would also make an argument for the first Randy Orton reign, since it was completely botched from day one. I would also think that the first Kevin Nash title reign as Diesel was pretty lame with a lot of bad matches.
