Numerous WWE sources stated there is "certainly interest" in a number of AEW stars whose deals are close to expiring or have been off TV for some time. One of those talents is Ricky Starks, although there is no word on whether WWE and Starks have been in contact, nor how long the former AEW World Tag Team Champion remains under contract with the promotion. It's also noted that WWE remain interested in Daniel Garcia, who has still not signed a new deal with All Elite Wrestling

Garcia definitely would be NXT no question about that one, Ricky I'd be more interested with. And both I wonder if they'd take NXT deals if offered or if they'd need to be main roster to entertain, guess we'll see but I'm pretty confident Garcia stays and Ricky goes unless WWE lowballs him

Garcia would be a huge bummer (but they mentioned him on comms last night) - Ricky is all but gone with his online behavior lately. I can't see him not sign with the fed and I agree with you Chris, interested if he would settle for NXT to prove himself (again).

I do think Garcia would do well under HBK, but I would be worried with him on Hunter's roster. I hope he stays.

Ricky I could not care less about anymore if I am honest. I get his frustrations but I also think he's been lazy and mailed it in and complains a lot as of late (some of it is understandable, some of it was out of anyone's control and he needs to chill)

losing Garcia would hurt though a lot, he's a blue chipper and loved a lot by a lot of people (fans and workers). I genuinely don't think AEW loses anything if Ricky goes. Maybe he makes a difference in WWE with Cody in his corner though. Still think he's too small and his ceiling is midcard there too (but higher on the card maybe than in AEW, idk)

I agree with Garcia, I'd actually love him in NXT most likely but I feel like I'd have similar gripes about him on the main roster that I do with AEW only worse.

And I kinda use Ethan Page as the NXT barometer, he was an AEW mid-lower carder and he comes in and can be top guy, Ricky is higher than Ethan Page so him in NXT would just be weird

Ricky is def too charismatic and seasoned for NXT - he was an upper midcarder in AEW and beat CM Punk once. Can't just ignore that.

His cons would be his size - but his look is still not bad. still, would be competing with a lot of other pretty boys that are bigger and taller.

pros: he's very charismatic and that could take him pretty far. lot of good promos in WWE too.

Either way he will need to bust his ass because it's pretty cut throat over there right now (not in a bad way, just a lot of competition for screen time)

I wouldn't bet on it bc I think Punk's potential feuds are probably already mostly set and we don't know how many he'll have even if he's not injured bc they'll just last months anyway, but it would be interesting if they did bring up Ricky beating him before, Ricky said they were still cool so I assume Punk likes him too

Garcia would definitely be a NXT guy. U can see a North American title run in his future
