Back in 2005 Rhino got released for his behavior but then he started getting involved in the ECW angle for the first One Night Stand and I was wondering did they come to a working agreement?
Rhino had been released but was in the midst of his 90 day no compete so he was technically still under contract and since the company wanted the ECW PPV to be as authentic as possible, they still used him in good match with Sabu.
When the Dudleys first came into the WWE Bubba had a stuttering gimmick. Whose idea was this and then it was gone after a couple of months like there was no problem.
It wasn't actually a WWE idea. Bubba's stuttering gimmick was something Paul Heyman came up with when Bubba debuted in the original Extreme Championship Wrestling in the Fall of 1995. He was actually super over as an undercard babyface but once it ran its course, the crowd turned on it. When he turned heel and formed the Dudley Boyz with D-Von, he dropped it. WWE Creative (my guess is Vince Russo) brought it back when the jumped to WWE in September 1999, but later dropped it in favor of using the table breaking as the center piece of the Dudleys persona.
I read the latest Impact! taping results for the next two weeks. Under Xplosion, it listed a match between Gail Kim & Chris Harris vs BG James & Roxxi. Although the bout was listed under Xplosion, will it be on TV along with the other Impact! matches?
No, it'll air internationally on Xplosion and online during the TNA Today broadcast.
What do you feel about a program with Ken Kennedy and Steve Austin? With plans being that Kennedy is Vince's bastard son and the long standing history with Vince and Austin you could have something started right there. Also, from what I understand Kennedy idolizes Stone Cold so if Austin was to give the rub to Mr. Kennedy to send him into main event status, it would be an honor for Kennedy especially if it was to main event Wrestlemania. Your thoughts?
I personally love the idea and I think it would be great for both performers. Austin has taken Kennedy under his wing somewhat to advise him on ways to improve and project himself better, so it would stand to reason that he'd be interested in working in the ring with someone he's taken a vested interest in. The problem is the same thing as any other potential Austin program - whether his neck can stand up to the rigors of performing a full fledged program. I have no doubts he could do a simple match with ease but I don't see Austin wanting to do a program if he's not going to be able to live up to the legacy he's already laid out for himself.
Has the 30 days clause of defending the US title lapsed for M.V.P.? I know he had a Wellness policy/health issue, but shouldn't WWE make him either defend the title or strip of him of the title and have someone else say Matt Hardy win the title or have someone hold the title until he is ready to come back or is WWE treating the title like they have with the cruiserweight and tag team titles and also because it's a Smackdown title?
The 30 Day rule is like anything else in wrestling, a slippery rule that can be ignored, re-written or enforced depending on the decision of the WWE Creative direction. Since MVP is such a hot character for the Smackdown brand, despite not being able to be that physically active right now until he's cleared completely for a return, I doubt WWE will do anything that could hurt his momentum. In fact, as we saw on Smackdown with his WWE Tag Title win, it's the exact opposite.
