PWG Sells Out

[Headfirst For Hardcore]

I think this needs a thread of its own, so it can get more attention.

PWG is finally coming out with a Nationally Released DVD. It's like the ROH DVD's that were selling in FYE. I think it's only a good thing for PWG, with more people getting into the product, indy wrestling fan or not. I really like PWG and the way they do things, I'm really hoping it's successful. And it's a 3 Disc set for like $15, which is a pretty sick bargain with what's on it. Mark your calendars, cause it comes out on 7/15.

The only match on there that doesn't get me too syked is the Joey Ryan vs. B-Boy match, considering I've never heard of either. But every other match looks to be I'll definitely be buying this in the coming months.

Joey Ryan is one of the main guys in PWG. He was in wsx as the 70s show tag team. He's also on the NWA showcase show. He's pretty good.

B-Boy is almost like the West Coast version of Homicide, very similar styles between them.

I also think it's ridiculous how I've only seen 3 matches off the listing.

You look at some of these matchups its worth the price of 15$ itself, even if you never heard of PWG

- Samoa Joe vs Danielson

- Joe vs AJ Styles

- CM PUnk vs Super Dragon

- Great lineup of matches. must buy for sure.

I've never seen Sam Goody/FYE sell PWG stuff. Hell, I've never seen them carry any ROH stuff. Whenever I go there, it's all 75% WWE, 25% TNA stuff.

This would be PWG's first release.

I noticed i went to the BIG FYE and they had a couple ROH dvds, like one of each. (bloodstaind/Stars of honor)

Im assuming if you go to a big fye they might have them, but the smaller ones dont.

I've seen a nice chunk of these matches, and its definitely a must-buy. Pretty much every match on the DVD was among the best matches of the year when they took place.

Hell, Generico vs Danielson and the Guerilla Warfare Match between Steen and Super Dragon are enough to make this a must-have.

I heard the small amount of ROH DVD's at FYE in the beginning was because they were unsure of how they would sell. But I went to a smaller FYE last week, and they had about 4 of each DVD. I need to start getting the best of Hardcore DVD's FYE has, those are good.

The PWG DVD could be the same case as the ROH and Chikara DVD's, but after they sold out in like a day, they had plenty in the FYE I go to.
