The Land of the Extreme hails CM Punk as its new ECW Champion. Less than a week after prevailing in a Fatal Four Way Match for the No. 1 Contender spot, the Straightedge Superstar defeated John Morrison for the ECW gold at a television taping in Cincinnati Saturday night. To see exactly how Punk made Extreme history this weekend, be sure to watch this momentous match-up in its entirety on ECW on Sci Fi, Tuesday night at 10/9 CT.

Finally,Morrison Era has come to an End..Cm Punk has done it..new ECW champion..hope WWE keeps the title with Punk for some time..will be interesting to see what WWE has in its mind about morrison now??

dont think so..think WWE was bringing V to SD after some months..might be Kevin Thorn,Richards or the Miz!
forgot to mention Burke and Cor Van as well..those two might get the chamce as well..

Then when Cor Von returns they can carry on the feud between him & Burke that they were hinting at a few months ago before he left for personal reasons!

That would be just wasting his Talent IMO!

Burchill Vs Punk is a dream feud in my view, as they are both great in the ring, Have plenty of charisma & Mic Skills & are both still very young.

That or either bring in another Heel from OVW along the likes of Johnny Jeter or somebody else. Jeter pre Spirit Squad was a natural Heel & could be a great oppisite in a feud with Punk.

well,i Paul Burchill,i dont know for sure but Burke vs Punk could be a nice match..WWE got to decide quick here on who should face Punk for the title at Unforgiven..

Burke and punk have had a lot of matches with eachother. I have loved them all but agian fighting? Im not sure maybe with ecw title on line the match could be more watgchable after seeing it 6000 times.
