Pulse Pro-Wrestling Hall of Fame Info

Pretty basic, each year, just before WrestleMania time, Pulse members elect seven members to the Pulse pro-wrestling Hall of Fame. Wrestler's with the most votes will get in, and each class will have one Valedictorian so to speak, who will be the marquee attraction. Structured like this;

Tag Team Class (1 inductee/year) - Explains itself. Two superstars get inducted under a tag team banner. This is for the greats, for the Steiner, the Road Warriors, the Demoltions, to name a few. Sure, Jeff and Matt were great in single's competition, but they got their name here!

Pioneer Class (2 inductees/year) [Peaked between 1890-1970] - Superstars that pioneered the sports. I'm talking George Hackenschmidt, Frank Gothch, and Ed Lewis. This would extend from the beginning of the sport to the end of the 60's, and ideally, it wouldn't feature superstars whose careers extending through the 70's, though if they made their name in the 60's and had runs in the 70's and beyond, but to a lesser extent, they'd be acceptable.

Golden Era Class (2 inductees/year) [Peaked between 1970-1990] - Stars from the late 70's and 80's who brought wrestling to the forefront, glorifying sports entertainment and making pro-wrestling a worldwide phenomenom. This would include a broad range of stars from WWF into WCW and even NWA stars that are big enough for inclusion. This covers just about everyone from Bruno Sammartino up until Randy Savage.

Renaissance Age (2 inductees/year) [Peaked beween 1990-2010] - From the late 80's and into the 2000's, this will include stars all the way from the dying days of Hulkamania and past the end of the Attitude Era. It'd be best not to include the likes of Triple H, Undertaker, Chris Jericho, and others who are still in active competition, but instead those like Kevin Nash, Mick Foley, and Mr. Perfect, just to name a few.

Platinum Class (1 inductee/year) - The center of the class, the icon. They may have existed in the previous eras discussed but their star power transcends their era and they deserve a spot at the top of the mountain. Reserved for the likes of Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, Ric Flair, The Rock, and Bret Hart. This should be voted on at an indivual's own discretion. It's the voters' duty to distinguish between all-time greats and just those who were great in their era.

Furthermore, a wrestler may be inducted into multiple classes. Ric or Hulk are two that could be featured in three different classes, the Golden, the Late Century, and the Platinum. However, a superstar could not be inducted into two classes in the same year. I would also encourage voters (assuming this goes through) to not stockpile big time legends into one year.

In order to then prevent ties in the Platinum class as well as the tag team class, additional points will be added for each recorded title reign throughout their career. Any WCW or WWF title scores you 2 points, an NWA title (pre-WCW) or lower will score you 1.

Then, beginning on the Sunday before Mania, there would be one inductee announced per day, up until WrestleMania Eve when the Platinum Member will be announced.

When the time comes to vote, this is the format to use:

PM that to the runner of the HOF (me), with the votes, of course, filled in.

Furthermore it should be noted that the annual induction ceremony takes place at the fiction Pulse Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame Memorial Stadium in not-so fictional Manhattan, New York. The night’s festivities are run by The EC who hosts the big show!
